- The Major Brothers have been getting horrible reviews down in OVW and have some major heat on them. Veterans like Steve Williams and Robert Gibson have offered the tag team advice but apparently they're acting like they have no idea who the veterans are and why they should be listening to them. The belief is they think they're too good for developmental and shouldn't be there.
- As previously reported, John Cena underwent surgery last Wednesday to repair his torn pec. They didn't know the severity of the injury until they went inside and once inside they discovered the tendon had torn all the way off of the bone. The reason they operated immediately as opposed to try and have Cena work No Mercy was partly because six days would have caused the tendon to start shriveling up and operating immediately made the surgery go easier and gave Cena a better chance of coming out of it 100%. As previously noted, Cena is expected to miss WrestleMania next year.

- When John Cena went down with his injury, obviously most major WWE plans had to be thrown out the window. A creative meeting was scheduled for that Thursday to figure out to do about the WWE Title situation. Once WWE decided what to do, they made no mention of it hoping to generate more buys for No Mercy. Vince McMahon had decided last week that there was no real way to replace Cena and he wasn't going to try.
While Vince wasn't pleased with Cena going down, he felt like it was an opportunity to give Orton a monster push as he feels Orton is a red hot heel right now. There was a suggestion that Kennedy should be given a huge push, but Vince nixed it in favor of Orton. The idea is to keep putting the major heat on him for the neat future but to continue to build RAW around Triple H as he will be feuding with Kennedy, Vince, Orton and others.
- RAW writer Brian Gewirtz made a push to get Rey Mysterio on RAW when Cena went down, noting that Rey is big with kids like Cena and there would be many fresh opponents for Rey on the RAW brand. There has been talk of moving Rey over to RAW for some time now, but the talks have picked up as of late. The idea is still up in the air, but the feeling is taking him off SmackDown would hurt the brand because SmackDown's ratings are big with kids and Hispanics and Mysterio is big with both of those demographics.

- There was already a push last Tuesday to put pressure on Shawn Michaels to return. Several weeks back, Shawn had been telling people that he was happy at home and was in no rush to return to action. At that point, there were no plans to bring HBK back until November but that ended up changing as he returned to RAW this Monday and is the main pick in the Cyber Sunday main event. It's believed Shawn will go on to face Orton at the PPV, but don't look for him to wrestle on RAW this Monday.
- Sources say Vince McMahon went nuts the other day after RAW writer Brian Gewirtz told him Roddy Piper had said he would be one of the choices for Guest Referee in a RAW brand match at Cyber Sunday, at a wrestling convention over the weekend. Vince immediately nixed Piper from the match and then said they wouldn't be using him as an option in the foreseeable future. What is odd about this is there were commercials airing for Cyber Sunday in Canada advertising Piper, Foley and Austin as the choices. (Possible Spoiler Removed}

- There is some talk within WWE to bring back Tough Enough, in some form. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are against the idea as they feel that it exposes the business. Kevin Dunn, among other top people in the company are strongly in favor of the idea. Vince McMahon is actually the one who brought the idea back up as he feels WWE needs to put some reality TV into all three of the brands.
- Lilian Garcia proposed a storyline recently where people would confuse her with Jillian Hall. Apparently she wants to be involved in a storyline to help promote her new album. In the past, Lilian has been against getting involved in storylines. When WWE did the Viscera/Lilian love angle, she put up such a fuss that WWE canceled the angle altogether. The way the current angle would go is that after Jillian's name had been screwed up enough times on RAW, she would eventually flip out on Lilian. Lilian proposed that this would lead up to a Battle of the Bands/American Idol type angle. RAW writer Kevin Dunn loved the idea and had been pushing for it to happen. After looking at what went down on RAW this past Monday, it looks
