'02 by far... Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman, American Bad Ass, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Rock, Eddie, Benoit, Edge, Mysterio... amazing times for WWE.

Yeah, Smackdown was best when Stephanie McMahon was GM.

I loved SD! in 2002. Man they had some of the best stuff going for them that year.

I hate Brock Lesnar period. This was the first full year without him, and the year we got to hear, what maybe the best wrestling sing ever "Sexy Kurt", 2005.

I loved pre-draft Smackdown.

There was no show, except for possibly NWA in the eighties, better than 2002 Smackdown. Every week, the Smackdown 6--Edge, Mysterio, Benoit, Angle, Chavo, and Eddie Guerrero--gave pay-per-view level matches and this lead to great shows. While Raw, the A show, sucked, Smackdown was everything WRESTLING fans wanted. Having Paul E. booking the show and a monstrous talent like Brock Lesnar as champion didn't hurt either.

Since the brand-extension, late-2002 through all of 2003 was amazing.

2003 was quite good actually. Had the Lesnar V Angle Fued, that had a great build up to Wrestlemania, and went all the way to an Iron Man Match on Smackdown. Hulk Hogan featured on regular programming, and the Tag Title and Cruiserweight Storylines were really good.
