The reason as to why they pulled it is sufficient in my opinion and i think it was the right thing to do.

Good. Watching the first one was painful.

Seem to remember people saying there was like 4 PPV's over the space of 2 months. A lighter PPV schedule at the end of the year will surely make Royal Rumble a bigger success or atleast higher buyrates.

With the amount of time feuds are given these days, I'm surprised they don't drop a lot more.
Feuds are getting really lengthy these days. They'll go on for months and months at a time. Having less PPV's, even if it were just 6 per year, would make the feuds more enjoyable. These days, most cards look the same. At least the main events, anyway - the matches that are supposed to be selling the show. Feuds become boring really quick when the same main event takes place every month, yet they can go on for like, four months. Take out half of the PPV's on the schedule so if they're having lengthy angles, they aren't tiresome after a couple of PPV's.

Good. It was really a useless PPV with RR three weeks afterward.
Now to get rid of One Night Stand, and possibly Cyber Sunday and the PPV schedule will look great.
