The stars will come out next week when the Superstars of Raw arrive at the Los Angeles STAPLES Center to witness a blockbuster night of action.
As promised by Mr. McMahon, Triple H and Shawn Michaels will be reunited as D-Generation X for one night only, and they will battle WWE Champion Randy Orton & Umaga. Will HBK and The Game bring back some DX magic on the West Coast, or will they crash and burn together in McMahon’s machinations?
And, as announced last week on Raw, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will be in Los Angeles Monday night. Will The Texas Rattlesnake confront Santino Marella, who has been a constant tormentor and critic of the former WWE Champion’s performance in The Condemned? The former Intercontinental Champion’s mockery of Austin last week on Raw might have been the straw that broke the Rattlesnake’s back.
With Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix staking her claim as the most powerful Diva in WWE, who in the Diva locker room will stand up and challenge the Glamazon? Is there anyone even in her league? And after a successful, yet tenuous partnership last week in Philadelphia, will Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes ever reach the point of mutual respect?
We all will find out as Raw broadcasts from the valley of the stars at the STAPLES Center at 9/8 CT on USA Network.

What other stars are there to steal spotlight from? "Damn! The Highlanders didn't randomly show up and make no impact whatsoever! No Hardcore Holly appearance? This Raw sucked!" But seriously, Austin's coming to respond to Santino's remarks the past month or so. Even if Austin wasn't coming, that time would still be spent on Santino cutting a promo about The Condemned. And Austin/Santino's first face off is almost guranteed to be damn entertaining. DX is only returning for the main event. I highly doubt the show's going to consist of backstage promos of "THAT DAMN DX" nature that we saw last year. |

Here is my take on what is going on with the WWE this week.
Cody Rhodes and Holly=Great
Stone Cold= Great
DX=Great
Y2J promo= eh
Santino Marella talking a good game, but then getting killed=Boooooooooooo!!!!
Beth Pheonix even showing up= HISSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
Mickie James and Murdoch= Oh great, it is Billy and Chuck all over again.

I don't think it'll be that good of a show. DX won't go over and Austin'll stun Marella. Probably a new Jericho vid but no Jericho.

Was that your attempt at being funny? anyway; Raw should be decent this week, I actually liked the return of DX last year, so I'm hoping this isn't a one time thing, but because of the lack of singles main eventers on Raw, I fear it shall be. Stone Cold bores the hell out of me these days, so I couldn't care less if he was on Raw or not, I don't particularly want to see Santino squashed. |
