Truly a legend, she will definitely be missed. It was always great to see her on television, she looked as though she was in great shape the last time I saw her on. I thought for sure she had some good years ahead of her.

I definitely think they need to do more than a tribute still on RAW for her, maybe not the full two hour full shows like Eddie and Chris got, but definitely a match dedicated to her memory (5 way Victoria v. Beth v. Mickie v. Melina v. Jillian would be best) as well as testimonials from Trish Stratus, Lita, Mae Young and some others.

The only way to make it work is to actually show some clips of her old matches. Right now, the average fan is only going to know her for the gimmick they've given her as a perverted octogenarian. That's a terrible way for anyone to be remembered. If they don't show anything of what she really was, it's what the "fans" will believe  Hopefully though, Mae will realize that she's got to dump this gimmick as well otherwise she'll be remembered the same way. |
