So as i was reading through some threads about future PPVs, i saw where RR 08 was at MSG (again) and i realize it seems WWE goes to the same venues every year. Why not change it up a little. I understand MSG is the mecca of sports entertainment. MSG is a godly like place. MSG also only holds about 20,000 people. Now from a business standpoint why wont WWE bring a PPV to Knoxville, TN. Thompson Boling Arena holds aprox 25,000 fans. Thats 5k more then MSG. Again i hate to compare the two b ecause MSG is head and shoulders above TBA, and i would never put WM or the RR in Thompson, but why not an event like Backlash or One Night Stand. Thompson just went through at 20 Million Dollar renovation. The arena is really one of the nicest college bball arenas around....So heres my question, Whats some other arenas/stadiums that should or could hold a PPV event but has yet to hold one....Also heres some pics from UTs renovated arena from last night....

A lot of football stadiums in England can easily hold 50,000 fans.
Old Trafford, Emirates Stadium and of course Wembley Stadium, which has held SummerSlam.

L.A. Collesium. The place holds 94,000 for football. Imagine a wrestling show.
They were supposed to have WrestleMania VII there, but due to poor ticket sells they moved it to the L.A. Sports Arena.

SS 92 ones one of the greatest if not THE greatest SS of all time. The only thing thats hurting stadiums overseas is the time zone. A live PPV for them comes on at what 1pm for us?? I would love to see WWE PPV in the Tokyo Dome..... I never knew Rupp Arena got a PPV, which one was it?

I'm surprised the MTS Centre in Winnipeg hasn't had a PPV.

So they said there wqasa a (kayfabe) bomb scare bc of Slaughter

I thought they were scared that there was going to be a sniper there to shoot Slaughter because of his gimmick?

Saddledome, Rexall Place, MTS Centre, Bell Centre, The Palace of Aurburn Hills.
WWE seems to keep going to Florida and The Northeastern Arenas of the US. Like Chicago, New York, New Jersey, Los Angelas, etc they keep going there and not to places that deserve them. Hell Florida has had like three pay per views in under a year. (ONS, Series' and Mania)

I thought they were scared that there was going to be a sniper there to shoot Slaughter because of his gimmick? Yeah, that'd make more since. Kind of a morbid story for that time in wrestling.. Couldn't the sniper just go to the other arena?

Slaughter because of the Iraqi sympathizer gimmick, which at the time was currently going on with the Gulf War. But yes, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

It had been a long time coming if you ask me, and maybe we will get another PPV before I have kids.

But with the way the athletic commission raised hell and fined WWE about the use of blood and stuff, I wouldn't be suprised to see it not happen.

PPV's here in the UK start at 1am and Raw starts at 2am. I think it would be fair if the UK had another PPV and Americans would have to stay up. I'm tired in the mornings !

I didn't hear about that, but the PPV happened while I was not watching so I didn't know much about it. Maybe we could get one a Freedom Hall, or Knoxville even. Its not that far of a drive, maybe 2 hours I think.

How about the RCA Dome? I know there was a Wrestlemania there once, and I think that's the only PPV there ever. I'm sure it's big enough.
Or if not, they could do the stadium the Colts are replacing it with. The Lucas Oil Stadium or something, on wikipedia it said it could hold 63,000-75,000.
