It would have been better if 90% of the internet didn't know about it.
1999.

'99 w/o question... Jericho's delivery was much more natural as the cocky, cry baby heel. This latest return... his delivery was really forced like you can tell he rehearsed every line and movement in front of a mirror a bunch of times. Still great... but not nearly as great.

Hmm, 1999 wasn't a return. It was a debut. So I will go 2007 by default.

Ok, I will say 2007. Because it was hyped so damn much and everyone was so ready for Jericho to come back.
By the way, 1999 was a debut not a return.

It's already been mentioned that 1999 wasn't a return, but it was still miles better. Everything about it was terrific. One of my the most important factors was the crowd. Whenever I go back and watch it, I get goosebumps when 'JERICHO' appears on the tron and the crowd collectively craps their pants and screams. It's amazing.
His return was hyped well and everything, but they ruined it last minute. Well.. not ruined, but it was poorly executed.
Why did they show him knock down torch guy? It was horrendous. The hype was great - the result wasn't at all.
Everything about his debut was pure gold.

It's just not even close..
