I agree. Raw is much better not only with their shows but with main events as well. Cena's matches became very repetative.

When you like Lashley, you have no room to bash anyone at all. Hmmm. I'm looking over my post again, but I can't seem to see Lashley mentioned anywhere. Maybe if you can't talk about the topic at hand, you have no room to post. I'll go ahead and say Raw has improved since a few weeks ago. It felt like they didn't have any idea what to do with the WWE title. Having it change hands three times in one night didn't help either. Things are finally back on track(at least for the main event) now that Jericho has returned. But they need to look at more than the WWE championship. It seems like they're using everything else for filler. I think they forgot there's an Intercontinental title on their show. Maybe now that they have a solid main event feud, they can focus more on the rest of the show. I like Ric Flair's storyline, but it's too early to see where it's going. We'll see how it goes.

It has been better since Cena's injury but I'm not gonna just blame his injury either. It's also been better because of Shawn Michaels who returned only a week after Cena was injured.

I can't wait until Cena returns.
"Am I the only one who thinks Raw has been better since... Cena came back?"
"Oh yeah dude I totally agree! <3 Cena!"
A week later...
"John Cena sucks man. He has like 4 moves in his moveset."
"Oh yeah dude I totally agree! Eff Cena!"

I think it's gotten better since his injury. I'm not glad that a man was injured, but I do think it's gotten better since he's left.

Sure it will happen, but I guarantee that won't be me, if I start getting bored of the product because of him, I guess I will start watching TNA iMPACT! but that being said, untill RAW stepped up its game the only show I was enjoying was suprisingly the show which everyone hates, ECW, nearest to wrestling you are going to get. Unless you count ROH, but when it comes to the indies, I am only interested in the UK circuit, mainly because I can stay on track with whats going on since I train for the one. But anyway as for the Cena off and on fans, just expect it, believe it or not its already happening with Y2J on other forums, don't know about this one though.

^ Weird? How so? You mean its weird not to have the same cheesey promos each week, not to have the same stale matches, and the same main event picture. You probly say this being a Cena fan, maybe not, I could care less about rating, doesn't mean the products worse.

Their most over performer, the guy who was on top for so long and had more great matches in 2007 than anyone else on the roster (deny it all you want, I'm bound to get called up on that comment but oh well, that's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it), their poster boy being absent from RAW, it's bound to be weird. I'm not saying you have to like the guy to realise that it's weird, it just is. It has nothing to do with me being a Cena fan, even if I wasn't, I'd still find it pretty weird with the top guy out. Cena just happens to be the top guy, and RAW to me doesn't feel the same.

Ah I see were your coming form, never really read through before anwsering, but I would still have to disagree with John Cena 'great' matches, acceptable one, yes, but great? Far from. Theres workers on the roster outside the main event who have matches which are not hyped up, or are reacted to by WWE as a great match from the lesser members of the roster, so saying he has had the most great matches is depending on how you look at it.

i think it's better just cuz we're getting some different stuff going on in the main event scene which has been stagnant for far too long.

If Cena cut the promo Jericho did, he'd be assraped.

If you ask anybody what their favorite ( WWE) match of 2007 was, 90% of them will say something with Cena. He's pulled a great match out of just about everybody he's faced this year. Hell, his matches with Khali were half-decent, especially ONS. Batista's matches against Khali downright sucked. That says something right there.

Just shows the hypocricy of wrestling fans..

It's been worse for me since he got injured, although the PPV main events have been good (although so were Cenas).
However I did enjoy Raw this week.

I was there when Cena made his return at SvS for team Eddie (i think 03 or 04) and i was there when he was hurt on RAW, they were both in cleveland. I was not happy to see him join team Eddie and I loved it when Mr. Kennedy .....(wait for it)... (thats right i am a kennedy mark)... (hes goona beat HBK).... (ok thats enough)... KENNEDY!!! and Randy Orton beat the hell out of him, well ok Orton did. So to answer the question is raw better know.. NO, i use to watch Cena in the main event and be asleep so fast it was great, his promo put me to sleep too. Now with real talent to end a show i watch the whole way through and am not ready for bed yet o well the lesser of two evils i guess. And just to make this a "dont bash cena" post as you asked i do respect him out of the ring, i went to a car show (Cena was there SAT. and Batista on SUN.) and when we went to meet Batista they said Cena was there from 11:30am (half hour late, Batista was too on SUN) until 10:00pm because there were still people that wanted to see him. I have never heard anything bad about him to the fans. Also just to put it out there Batista did stay 2 hours longer then he should have but had to get another flihgt out of town later to keep up with other dates. (just so this doesnt start a Batista Bashing) and now i have rambled on about nothing so now i will be bashed oh well.

i think that the show got better because creative is being forced to take RAW up a notch. remember the week after shawn came back and how low the ratings were? people thought it was an error but it was the truth.
and i remember reading somewhere that vince wants the wwe to take on an Attitude-era-like persona.
right after cena got injured, No Mercy was one of the best PPV in the months before it, and the PPV's have been good since then.
so i think its all because of Vince taking affirmative action at the low ratings after HBK returned.
but if cena wasnt injured, yes it might not be as good as it is now, but who knows? maybe cena would have lost his re-match after no mercy, and go to the mid-card. you might say its impossible, but hey where is HHH right now? taking the back seat to Orton.
but i do however think raw will be better when cena's back. its hard to explain in words how i think its gonna be better, but it could be. it depends how he returns. heel return = success. face return = minor success. hes definitly coming back to take out Randy Orton or Kennedy, so it depends on where they are (main event; mid-card) as to where cena returns. if WWE is smart they would put Orton and Kennedy in a feud and have cena return in the middle of it and have some triple threat matches.
