I can't respect the man, and I took him out of my sig but you guys make me ing sick. I do not see how all of you can condem his to hell when if you all actually believe in GOD then you know it would be wrong for you to do that. I know that this was a terrible tragedy but it seems like you guys are taking it a little too personal. I do not think you would react with so much anger if you heard about some Joe Somebody doing this in some little town. Actually, that's pretty much my typical reaction when something like this happens anywhere.

I'm also shocked at this viscious reaction of most "fans" against him. Some are like a pack of wolves just waiting to tear down someone. Shows they really didn't respect him or this business much. At times like this you get behind the person (if you did support him), not the other way around. Hopefully when you screw up big in life there'll be an angry mob waiting behind to pelt you to death too. Except in cases where we know he killed them, if he was simply accused and awaiting trial I could see people standing behind him, but Chris was so afraid of the angry mob that he hanged himself. It was cowardly and the whole thing is really unnecessary. I wish, for the sake of his family and Benoit too, that this had never happened and Chris could've worked out his mental problems on his own. But since he killed his own son, I've got no compassion. The angry mob is rightfully angry.

I just realized it. Isn't there an actual Chris Benoit Day in Canada? Looks like that's going to be axed off the calendar.

I was looking for a shirt to wear this morning and I came across a Benoit shirt that I had forgotten I had.
I looked at the back and read, "Struggle is Optional, Pain is Inevitable". That has an entirely different meaning now.

I do not condone anything he did but I'm not gonna berate the man either. He should be rembered, in context, for what he did in the ring...I apprecaite that Chris Benoit. The Benoit that allegedly killed his family and himself I feel bad for but I'm not gonna say the guy is this slanderous word and that slanderous word. Me nor anyone else know what really happened or what was going through his mind. the man was obviously stricken with grief about what he did becasue he killed himself...before we judge and continue to bash the man understand he probably felt worse than any of us are feeling right now.

One thing I don't get is if Daniel was 7, that means he was 4 when Benoit won the world belt @ wrestlemania. Yet if you watch after the match, the kid that comes into the ring was well over 4 feet tall. Crazy stuff. Growth hormones since birth? No wonder the douche bag was very private

No wonder the douche bag was very private I think you're talking about his other son from a previous relationship. Daniel was there, and he was still quite small.

I hope this doesn't sound disrespectful, but was Daniel Benoit a little person (dwarf)? I just read that the Benoits had him (Daniel) on some sort of growth hormone.

I pretty much lost all my respect for Benoit, what he did was horrible. It's bad enough he killed his wife but he had to kills his seven year old son as well. Just horrible

Yea can someone please ban dunga?
I'll never feel I have the right to comment on what happened in Benoit's personal life, and I don't get where you people, the media, etc have the right to either. We all knew him as Chris Benoit, one of the best damn technical wrestlers the sport has ever seen...and that's how he should be remembered.

Guys...I am SO ing pissed off. On WWE 24/7, they show the Monday Night Wars on a weekly basis an air episodes of Nitro and Raw in chronological order. This is probably my favorite part of WWE 24/7. They were just up to February 1997, I believe, and when I checked last night they took the latest episode down. In addition, they also had No Way Out 2007 up there and took that down, as well. Obviously it's because Benoit appeared in both. In No Way Out he was in a six-man tag match with the Hardys and in Nitro back in the '97, he was part of the Four Horseman with Nancy and feuding with Kevin Sullivan. I understand taking away Benoit's merchandise and all that...but I REALLY enjoyed watching the Monday Night War episodes just because wrestling was in its prime back then. I hope they don't just stop showing it altogether. Just edit out all the stuff with the Horseman in it, then, if they want to.

I love how some of the mods have these offensive as hell anti-Benoit sigs, but we'd be banned if we posted one. I don't know what's more offensive actually...the sig pictures, or the fact that people still believe in heaven and hell.

All the Benoit talk is bad enough, can we drop the Warrior talk in this thread please?
If you guys want to talk about how nutty the Warrior is, do it in the classic wrestling board.

As long as it doesn't violate the T.O.S. or make light of the deaths, then you are welcome to express your love/hate towards Benoit.

I think all talk of Benoit should be stopped. By keeping sigs of him or talking about him he is remebered, dosent matter how he is remebered as it keeps his legacy and memories alive. Benoit dosent deserve to be remebered or to have a legacy.

Ha no thanks...I'm not shallow enough to feel the need to make my opinions known every single time I post something...plus my Muta picture is much cooler.
