i myself have a bad case of "prove them wrong". no matter whats the subject, if i know im 100% right, i dont go down w/o a fight.
my dad gets on my case all the time about wrestling being fake and a waste of money, then i tell him about how they cut themselves to make it look real, then he says its ketchup. but once when i said that, my friend was there to go "yeah they have blades and hide it" and sicne both of us are saying the same thing hes got no choice but to believe it. but then he said theyre stupid then.

well in a way wrestling is fake. The tables are rigged up to break easier. You can tell by the way someone will lay on it and it bows in. Sure the chair shots are real, the blood is real

I mean, to be honest, some people if they wanna think wrestling is fake they will. You can literally show them anything with undeniable proof of the realism, but if their mind is made up (especially if they're older), they're not gonna change. If you were to show them anything I'd say look up the footage of when they have to sew Mick Foley's scalp back together after the Royal Rumlbe 99. If tha tdoesnt do it, just forget it.
