Do you think WWE hired Khali after seeing him on The Longest Yard? I think they that saw him and thought "this guy is enormous we should hire him".

He was wrestling before he was in that movie. So I doubt that movie gave WWE the idea to get him.

Vince probably was watching the longest yard and got a hard on when he saw the big guy (Khali) and thought hed be a good future world champ.

I seriuosly doubt that. He was probably seen in another promotion and someone from WWE saw him and wanted to bring him into the business.

It was probably Steve Austin that called him it went like this
Steve: "Hey Vince theres this big sum' bitch here in this movie I am making. I don't know how well he can wrestle, but slap a pair of black pants on him teach him 2 or 3 moves and BAM. Your next WWE Champion"
Vince: " I'm sold. The contracts in the mail."
Steve: " But Vince don't you wanna see this big bastard."
Vince: " Nope that's fine Steve."

yeah I doubt they hired just because of a movie ...but ya never know I know he did wrestle before the movie so im sure thats where they noticed him

They didn't hire him because of the movie, because he only had a minor part. He was hired because of his size.

Well, he had been wrestling a few years prior in Japan as Giant Singh. He tagged and fueded with Giant Silva, formerly of The Oddities.
