This may seem odd, but I can see it happening. Here it goes.
Ric keeps having these matches. One Raw he is cutting a promo on how he will never retire. Triple H comes out and starts to talk. Saying " I don't want to see you hurt yourself" blah blah blah Finally at Wrestlemania Triple H vs. Ric Flair. Flair wins, but says after the match he is retiring. Or he loses and retires.
Thoughts?

What an awful idea.
The last person that needs the rub from Ric Flair is Triple H.

Its so FLair wont look bad. Loosing to a man he respects so much and thats done almost as much as he has.

Flair losing to Triple H would make him look awful. Triple H hasnt made anyone he's been in the ring with this year look good.
Flair wont look bad on his way out anyway, especially if he gives the rub to someone who could use it to get into the next chapter of their career. Flair would then be credited for helping that guy reach stardom.

Id love to see Flair win the rumble, or whatever to be the #1 contender for the Worlds Championship, and win it at mania, then the following night he retires the belt and from wrestling. Flair made that belt have the meaning it has today, they should have him retire it, and bring in a new design for the belt.

I remember, somewhere down the road, Foley saying that it was a business tradition for someone to "leave on their back" -- that is to say -- lose their last match. While Flair and Foley have had their differences over the years, after nearly 36 years in the professional wrestling industry, I think Flair has a sense of respect and special place in his heart for internal business tradition.
He may be nearly 60, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Naitch receive one last (albeit short) world championship run before dropping it (perhaps to Triple H?), and finally putting to rest perhaps the greatest legacy in the history of professional wrestling.

God Damnit People!? Why is Triple H your default champion for someone to drop the belt to!?
He doesnt need anymore title wins! He hasnt done anything good for the business in years!

i don't really like your idea. it's not bad, but i wouldn't want to see it between flair and hhh.

At least Flair and HHH can put on a good match together.

At least Flair and HHH can put on a good match together. What does that have to do with anything? Flair had a fantastic match against Umaga tonight. With your logic he should retire to anyone he can have a good match with.

I'd rather see him lose to someone who could use the accomplishment of "retiring Ric Flair". Some young, up and comer like MVP.

My idea would to have flair in a match and then all of a sudden keel over from a heart o tack

I not want to see Flair retire by HHH. He should vs to some else who was used be his team or his major feud in the history.

He shouldnt lose to retire. He should simply announce it himself or i see it as a loss of credibility for flair if he went out losing a match.

he will prolly face orton at no way out for the title and orton will "kill" the legend of flair thus leading to tripple h facing orton at mania

All I know is this Ric Flair retirement storyline had better involve a mini-angle with Ricky Steamboat at some point, even if Steamboat can't wrestle.
I mean, come on. It's Ric Flair. It's Ricky Steamboat. They're both *right there* at every Raw. Put Steamboat into the storyline somehow!!
