Mankind vs. Taker Burried alive match...my brother had it on tape before i was a fan and i remember always watching it....also bulldog vs. Michaels from beware of dog was on that tape too.
my WCW match was a hogan sting match but it wasnt from starcade...

First match I ever saw apparently was Hulk Hogan VS Sgt. Slaughter on Saturday Night's Main Event or something. I forget what the show was, my dad recorded it and said it was the first wrestling show I ever watched and I was a huge fan of Hogan as a baby. I had Hogan diapers, a Hogan bandanna and a Hogan shirt. But umm the first match I remember, from when I started watching again in 2000 was a diva's match as I was flipping through the channels. It had Ivory, Debra, The Kat and someone else for the Women's Title, and then Edge and Christan did some promo with Mick Foley or something.

vader vs. goldust, and watching wrestling early saturday or sunday morning (cant remember some black guy was on there looked like coach man i think (not even sure about that)
and watching wcw i went to wcw like every year around my birthday in either late january or early febuary

The '98 Rumble Match. I started watching between the Rumble and WM14 and wanted to she Austin win, so I rented the Rumble and fast forwarded to the actual Rumble and still to this day it was my favorite Rumble match, may change when I got to the MSG this year. ;D May not have been my first, but I don't remember watching any of the matches between the Rumble and WM.

I don't remember the first match I saw, but what got me hooked on WWF was the Higher Power angle in 1999. Before that, I was diehard WCW.

I had most likely been watching WWE for several months before but Kane vs. the Hardys in '97 sticks out in my head. I remember the first thing I ever saw on a WWE show was Ahmed Johnson on commentary (I think) via a weekend recap show. Also, Austin attacking Bret in the back of an ambulance is another of my earliest first-hand WWE memories.

Not the first match I ever saw BUT - for some reason sticks out in my mind immensely. Was a WWF superstars match from late 1992 - Ric Flair vs. Sgt Slaughter.
Slaughter missed flair in the corner and did his trademark hanging on the ropes above the turnbuckle as if he'd passed out. Mountie came out of nowhere with his shockstick and electrocuted slaughter badly. He then ran off with jimmy hart and flair got the pin.
Never realised why that match always stuck with me but hey - its been 16 years and I still remember it quite vividly.
