Even if high spots got Jeff over, he still got over.
Triple H never would've gotten over if he hadnt made any cock jokes. Rock never would've gotten over if he didnt raise his eyebrow. Where would Cena be if he didnt rap?
Point is they got over.

What? I see guys in ROH doing spots all the time and I doubt any of them are on steroids. I don't care if a wrestler takes pain killers as if I was in all that pain I would probably too. you're totally missing the point... if they didn't do those "cool spots" they wouldn't need the pain killers... Not true at all. Have you ever wrestled and taken bumps? It hurts like a bitch, and doing it 4 or 5 days a week will take its toll on you, whether you do a lot of high spots or not. As for the Hardy stunt, while I do think it might have been a little risky considering Hardy is in the main even in two weeks, I think it was an awesome end to Raw and helped get Hardy over even more.

You know, I can appreciate seeing a great match, like Liger vs. Ultimo Dragon, or Bret Hart vs. Kurt Hennig... but to deny the love that Jeff MUST have for the fans and the business to put his body at risk is a slap in the face to call yourself a fan. Okay, so he DOESN'T chain wrestle and hit every damn move flawlessly, but he does ENTERTAIN a hell of a lot of fans, and has for many years now. Jesus, at least give the guy some respect trying to entertain all of you, at least he gets out there and literally busts his ass, while you all critique him over the internet, ruling that little keyboard with your iron fists. ...Don't EVER...EVER misspell Curt Hennig again.

Allow me to chime in my two cents. I know this isn't going to be popular with a majority of the board here but after tonight, there is no doubt that Vince needs to pull the trigger and put the WWE Championship on JEFF HARDY at the Rumble.
The fans are accepting Hardy as a main eventer and to put Orton over him at the Rumble would simply kill Hardy's momentum and render him the company's version of Monty Brown and what TNA did to him at Final Resolution 2005 against Jeff Jarreet.
With the main talent such as Cena and Lashley out, it is honestly now or never with Jeff Hardy.
Now, as for the ending of Raw, I honestly had no problem with it and thought if fit well within the context of the feud, showing Jeff as the fearless challenger who will put his body on the line. It also reminded me of the attitude days and the wrestling boom period when we didn't know what anyone was going to do.
As for about what its teaching kids, it is a known fact kids mimic what they see on tv. They have done it for years and will continue to do it. To blast Hardy for this spot is nothing more than blind hatred from people who hate Hardy and hypocrisy.
Does that mean we should censor/bash everything that kids might mimic? Should we bash Superman and Batman because they can fly or Spiderman because he swings through the city? Should we take off all X-Games events such as Motocross, BMX riding and skateboarding because they do bigger and better tricks all the time?
How bout we contact Travis Pastrana and tell him that he should be ashamed of his freestyle motocross double-backflip at the X-Games in 2006 because its sending a bad message to kids, telling them they can try the trick.
Please, do us all a favor and get off your high horses and stop drinking your Jeff Hardy-Hatorade for a while.

Atleast spell Curt Hennig's name right for crying out loud. Not that hard.

The whole thing was staged(obviously) including the stretchers and platform that didn't serve a purpose, you didn't even get see the impact, at least Foley's off the top of the cell was in the publics eye.
Oh yeah, him valiantly raising arm as he's being hauled off gets my vote for the cheesiest moment so far this year.

Ok, I'm a drone because i wasn't impressed by a guy landing on a cushion? Notice how you never saw the impact with Orton? There was none. Hardy landed on a damn cushion then slid over to Orton. Stunt Double take bigger falls, so go watch them, just don't let them in the main event on my damn TV.

I've done it for a few years so i think I've caught that somewhere down the line. Point is you're all over Hardys nuts like he is Christ, when all he is is a backyarder with no talent who is overhyped for no reason.

The only thing HBK is killing with SCM is a fly at best. HBK > Halo ... wow. You made yourself look really dumb there. I wasn't making fun of HBK, I was saying that his impact does hurt someone's neck like you said it did. HBK's kicks sound great but they dont hurt, nobody is ever going to get injured from an HBK kick unless he intentionally tries to hurt them. Also, how can you compare a video game to a person? Thats like comparing apples and oranges, doesnt even make sense.

I wrestle several times a week, never needed pain killers myself. True, but for people who do that all year round, for years at a time, it takes its toll. I've had times during training where I would wrestle in 4 or 5 matches per night and barely be able to hold my head up by itself driving home because I was in that much pain. So I guess it differs with each person, and each ring too. Our ring just happened to have really little give.
