HBK is the bigger star, by far. Who would even ask the question.
Though, they're still trying to shove HHH down our throats.
That's like taking Carlito (as great as he is) and trying to turn him into The Rock.

On Paper, Triple H is the biggest Star. He will always be in the front of the Programmes, in the main event at Wrestlemania, be in the WWE Championship Picture.
Yeah Shawn Michaels is a great performer and wrestler, but in terms of the biggest Superstar, Triple H takes it.

Even though Triple H is by far my favorite, im going with Shawn at this. Triple H never gets alot of credit, when he was in his prime, Rock, Austin and Undertaker were all in the spot light, then after Rock and Austin left, Triple H was then the main guy, and bashed the by lame ass smarks. Triple H has held more titles, but Shawn gave wrestling a new style, he made it (at the time) something we have never seen before with his matches.

HBK predates the Undertaker in WWE. He goes back to WM5 when Hogan vs Savage was the main event. The Guy is a legend.

Ah its no contest, I suspect HHH wud like to think he is bigger than HBK. But I think as a faces HBK will always get the bigger pop and as a heel HBK will always get the most boos. Personally deep down il always prefer his style, ability and charisma as oppose to HHH who kind of half heartedly does things. Maybe thats harsh, but i dont think HHH has done that many memorable things in his career like big bumps or heart stoppin moments. Shawn has definately had plenty, rant over

"HBK can barely walk". lol. Thats why he runs around the ring around Triple H during promos, nips up in every match, and wrestles without showing the least bit of injury most of the time. Do you see how he runs around? He limps around the ring, he can barley move anymore.

I would have to say HBK is the bigger star. Shawn was able to shine durning a time when the roster was thinner (one brand) and mid-carders (by those standards) would be treated as main eventers. Remember, Shawn's prime and Hunter's prime came at two very different parts of sports entertainment history. If Hunter has reached his peak when Shawn was carrying the company (anybody remember HBK's title run after WM 12?) he would easily be overshadowed by HBK.
And as far as titles held were concerned, most of HHH's world title runs came after the brand split. In fact, he only held the title 5 times before each brand created their own World Straps. Do you honestly think HHH would be an 11 time champion right now if there was only one World Title for both brands? Hell no. Would have a title run or two, absolutely, but 11 times? No way.
HHH has climbed to the top of one half of the mountain and stayed there for a long time and basked in the fame, but HBK climbed to the very top and stayed there for a very long time.

Shawn was also one of the forefathers of many of our favorite gimmick matches.
Ladder Matches The Iron Man Match Hell in a Cell The Elimination Chamber and more.
Shawn has left a much bigger mark on the industry and will always be remembered as a bigger star than Trips. Just wait and see. 6 years from now at the 20th Anniversary of the Ladder Match, watch how many clips of Shawn Michaels there will be and then watch how many clips of HHH. The same for the Hell in the Cell. Sure Trips has been in more Cell matches, but more clips are shown from HBK/Taker and Taker/Mankind than any other Cell matches.
HBK has a place in sports entertainment forever.

It didn't start at Wrestlemania 12 with HBK-Bret. 60 Minute Iron Man Match maybe, but the actual idea of an Iron Man Match was birthed long b4. He also wasn't in the first Ladder Match. He is only the forefather as far as WWF history goes. Still its an awesome feat, and is one of the reasons why I love HBK. Top 5 for me all time.
