Everyone has those little things from the past... certian aspects of different wrestlers (whether it be theme musics or mannerisms) that arn't exactly revolutionary for them, but you felt added to the character. You know what i mean, things like the way Mankind walked oddly in '96... it wasn't a necessity for the character, but it added something. I was wondering, what little aspects of certian characters do you like, and what things do you miss from certian wrestlers. There are two i can think of right now that i miss... 1) Kurt Angle's olympic style WWE theme music - it just added a little extra something to his character and made his entrance more exciting 2) Undertaker's pre 2000 fighting stance - remember when Taker would enter the ring and not stand and walk around like a boxer... i think that make him seem less human. So yea, what small quirks do you like in certian characters and miss in others ? (PS, is this one of the greatest themes or what ? )

1) I actually like Kurts TNA entrance. 2) Take should be Bad-Ass
I miss, rivalries in the mid-card with main-event quality about them, and i miss the F really.

I miss when Kane used to walk all machine like and Step over the ropes. Yeah, that's what I was gonna say too,but now he is the Big Red Monster, not the Big Red Machine, and also something from the machine era of Kane is his Mask, but I guess that's kinda a big thing different.

I miss Kane's original organ theme music. I realize he's pretty much as un-monsterish as he can get right now, but the Finger Eleven certainly doesn't help.

Heh, i used to think that was hilarious, but i never really understood the theatre faces.... BTW, I also miss the toned down swearing of today... if your in a fued with someone, if its supposed to seem legitimate, swearing often helps.... and Bathturd doesn't count

i miss the whole mystique which is largely gone. my period is and will always be Hulkamania time from 84-90. after that, things changed slightly. at least they still ACTED like it was a real sport. it sort of felt official. there were no crazy chairmen trying to screw everything. no ass kissing. no necrophilia, no real spot monkeys. 91-96 i was pretty much disillusioned with the business in and out. then in 96, with the nWo, i got back in because that storyline felt exciting. you never knew what was going to happen next....of course that tapered off with the whole "sting drops from the rafters, hits a couple lower guys with a bat (virgil, norton) and everyone else scatters. the attitude era had a measure of that as well. i was watching a match on youtube the other night between triple/taker/shane vs rock/austin/vince and it felt like they were actually fighting for something. from then on, there was still some life left. top caliber matches like hogan/rock took place, flair was back, brock lesnar, kurt angle, takers heel turn, all great stuff. i think for the most part, it all began going bad in 2003. rock was gone, austin stopped wrestling and became a spoof, triple h's influence grew, everything just felt diluted. now, there are few REAL superstars left. Shawn Michaels, Triple H, and Taker are all I can really be excited to see. Angle is the only other one I believe in and hes gone to TNA. everything else is crap, really. nobody takes anything seriously because its impossible. everything has been exposed. I will never be a fan of Cena the face, Batista is beyond terrible, Hornswoggle's existence makes me want to eviscerate cities, its all a joke. I guess that means I miss the big things the most.
