If last nights "mixed martial arts" match was any indication, Floyd Mayweather's WM appearance should be god awful, even worse than Trump. Trump at least made a little bit of sense and had a good build up, where as Mayweather vs. Show makes no sense whatsoever and is distractingly fake.
I can't be the only one irritated by this shitty, non sensical storyline.

mayweather, at least trump could talk, and, not trip over his words. trump didn't talk over anyone either, and didn't stare into the camera, looking, well, dumb.

Oh trust me, you aren't the only one. I share the exact same sentiments with you as well. This whole Mayweather stuff is lame, predictable and as you said distractingly fake. I hate it and so did the crowd last night on Raw. They hated every second of that crap.
It's a waste of time and Mayweather is a complete waste of $20 million dollars. Nothing more needs to be said.

Mayweather is making to much MONEY and that isn't Funny.
Big Show should be facing a WRESTLER.

i agree with everyone so far. I have no idea where WWE is going with this match. If Big Show wins, it makes boxers look weaker than WWE stars (Mayweather would probably not sign on for a loss) If Big Show loses, WWE stars look weaker than boxers (would wwe really pay millions of dollars to have their star look weaker?)
and yes, Mayweather is horrible in his promos. How many times did he say "i'm going to break your jaw" last night. If he wasn't saying that, he was staring blankly into the camera showing no emotion.
I miss Trump, who had as much charisma as McMahon....and way more than Lashley.

Both pretty bad. But I would have to say Trump was worse, only because Lashley was showcased in a high profile fued.

I don't like Mayweather at all, and his promos are terrible, but at least he'll do something in the ring, even if it is obvious he will somehow win.
I prefer it to trump.

If anyone, I'd say the blame should go to Hogan since he was originally supposed to be Trump's pick for that match. But because he wanted too much money, it went to Lashley instead. And I'm sure whatever Hogan wanted is chump-change compared to what they are forking out to pay Mayweather off. Trump at least has history with WWE, dating back to WrestleMania IV and V at Trump Plaza. Not to mention at last year's WrestleMania as well. What purpose does Mayweather serve?? I can't think of anything to be honest. Just get rid of that idiot. For $20 million, they could've got someone WAY better than him.

I seriously doubt Mayweather is making $20 million. Tyson made $3.5 million for his WM14 appearence, so, I'm guessing Mayweather is probably making around the same amount. As for who's worse, I think Trump was. At least Mayweather will actually get in the ring and it will focus on the in ring part.

With the history Trump has with WWE, I just cannot believe that people are actually saying this Mayweather stuff is better. I just don't get it. I guess the history doesn't matter to today's fans anymore.
Trump got in the ring as well and did what he needed to do in the "Battle of the Billionaires" match. Which was shave the losers head bald and he did exactly that. Not too many people can say they shaved Vince's head, but Trump is definitely one of them.
The Trump storyline actually had a purpose and served it's purpose. What purpose does this stuff with Mayweather serve?? Someone PLEASE answer me that.

Last night Mayweather sounded like he was on a tape loop. Christ it made me want to shove sharpened pencils into my ears.

It's an angle with a mainstream celeb or athlete. WWE does this every year. It's no different then having Pete Rose show up for WM. It's just a way for the WWE to try to get more non-wrestling people to order WM. Besides, Mayweather will be gone the Raw after WM anyways.
