Has anyone heard anything about this? I am surprised that the WWE hasnt been talking this up. I am going to see it tonight with a few friends and I am just wondering what it is? It's called WWE:stars of WrestleMania. I was at the mall today and seen a sign for it at the theater

That should be pretty cool to see on a big screen in surround sound.

should be a great time. I always thought it would be a great experience seeing PPV's at a theatre.

It is playing where I am (Altoona) however it is $10 per ticket. To me that is a bit much although I am tempted to go at 4:15 today to watch it.

I saw WM 19 and SummerSlam 03 at a theatre here in Winnipeg, pretty fun. They wheel in popcorn and snacks for you so you dont have to leave. I won a WM x8 poster once.. I think it was like 16 bucks to see it. Never had a desire to see one there again as SS 03 was a below par PPV. I dont remember it sounding different with surround sound but the picture quality suffered from the projection, it seemed a little fuzzy and stretched out.

...WWE is now in HD, and in HD it has to be in widescreen, so I don't think it would be strectched out anymore, if you saw it now at a theatre.

When I called my theater about it they said it was $10.00 plus regular ticket prices which would be like $8.00

I saw the early showing today. It was ok, i just wanted to see what it was like on the big screen, and it was pretty cool. Heres the matches they show:
Hogan vs Rock at WM X8 HBK vs Y2J at WM19 Y2J vs HHH from WM X8 The Rock vs Stone Cold from WM 15
I think thats it, i might be missing one, but it lasted 2 and a half hours.

Is it just one match after another or is there some kind of interview/documentary segments between them?

Like when it starts, theres a segment that tells the usual "WrestleMania is the biggest event of the year" then it tells how Rock is a 3rd generation superstar, and shows Rock talking about WrestleMania in an interview and highlights of past matches involving the Rock at Mania. Then it shows the full Rock/Hogan match at WMX8. After that theres a package on HBK, and then it shows Y2J vs HBK. And the same for Stone Cold and HHH. And just to note, the matches are shown in their entirety, theres not just highlights and they dont skip through the rest holds, they are the FULL matches from start to finish, including the entrances.

I was actually really hoping it would be like the Movie that came with the Wrestlemania XX DVD, that showed the lives of Wrestlers building up to XIX, and behind the scenes off character videos etc, mixed with the match highlights.
