I like it and tried to keep it a bit simple this time. I know it's just text on a brushed background. Do you think it need's something more? What do you guys think?

Aight man, I think it looks pretty good for starters, but not for a finished project, considering this is just a simple sig.
I think you put your focus too much on the text. The background is also too crowded and junky looking. First I'd tone down on the major brushing, and just keep the brushing to a minimal. Try using some filters too, like the splatter effect, or download some rust textures, they work nice for a grungy look.
The blue is a nice colour, and the gradient effect on the text is nice, but the outer stroke is junky looking. The text is too big and bold aswell. Put the focus more on finding the text in a grungy graphic, but still standing out. In the bottom right corner, with maybe a soft and very large outer glow, blending with the background, maybe in dark blue. The choice of font is also not a very good choice for this graphic. Dafont.com has a nice selection of grunge fonts, I'd look around for something short and thick for this. Also a design of some sort like vines surrounding the text would always look nice for a grungy graphic.
I can see this being changed into sometime real nice if you were to fiddle with the text and brushing. Also if you were making it darker, I'd go with a texture with bright spots, for a light look, go for a texture with some real dark spots that can really pop out at you.
Hope this helped.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to go back and try to remake something better and take your advice. I like the idea of making the text alot harder to find but still standing out. Once again thanks for the feedback.
