Not too impressed with the game room, I was hoping to move around at such not just pan around the place. Also if you buy an arcade game do you still have to pay for each play? That would be ridiculous.

That would be ridiculous. No, once you buy it, you can play as much as you want. It supports both 360 and PC. However, depending on how you pay, your mileage will vary. You pay $3 to get a game for one platform, and $5 to get it on both. If you pay the 3 and want to upgrade to both, you just need to pay $2.

I see, there is a lack of games I actually want but like the idea of a game room, i wish you could import any game from your arcade library. I also wish you could move your avatar around so for now im still kinda bleh on it.

They're going to slowly work their way through the catalogs of the early systems and arcades. The project started as an idea to do Dreamcast emulation. I don't have any idea how long it will take them to get there (given they're going to definitely skip all of the Playstation and Nintendo consoles), but they've already committed to around 1000 (with around 7 new games each week though that number will have to increase at least on some occasions if they want to reach the thousand) games in Game Room by around this time next year.

But i guess GameRoom could become something big a slong as its done right.

Game room doesn't thrill me. You don't get the pleasure of dealing with a guy you beat in SF2 yelling at you for being cheap. Sometimes I miss ye old arcade.

It's the best 20 dollars you'll ever spend on the 360 if you just buy it. I love that damn game. It's just so ing ridiculous. It's the Snakes On A Plane of gaming.

Any play Deadly Premonition? I want to give it rent because I keep hearing how terribly amazing it is. It was, quite simply, one of the worst games I've ever played. The guy gets his messages about the crimes from the milk he pours in his coffee. Plus, the music is unbearably loud during the cut-scenes, and the monsters are poorly animated. But, it is good for a laugh. Go ahead and rent it... if you dare.

The new Dragon Age expansion is very good. I finished it the other day. It has more depth to it than most $60 games and it's an expansion... much <3 for Bioware

Got the RROD today for a second time in... three years I think. I did the whole repair thing with Microsoft through their website instead of talking to a barely understandable Indian on the phone for 30 minutes like last time. Damn RROD's

turns out it wasn't the RROD and just a loose hard drive, must have happened on the travel home. Error 68 ftw. Had to cancel the repair though. ¬_¬
