turns out it wasn't the RROD and just a loose hard drive, must have happened on the travel home. Error 68 ftw. Had to cancel the repair though. ¬_¬ Whew, that's good news. |

Activation sent me a code for the new mack pack in MW2, It's funny how one sees things differently when money isn't involved. Being able to play Crash again is so bloody awesome. I did ask for a few extra codes for promotional stuff with the site, wonder if I'll get them.
Also recieved Metro 2033 from THQ and Resonance of Fate from Sega. Don't care much for Metro 2033, although Survival Horror has never been for me, unless it's Zombies. Resonance of Fate seems decent enough, as usual with most RPG's you have to play for a while to get in to the story.

I hit 30k for my gamerscore last night. I have a girlfriend...I swear! I honestly had a blast yesterday just digging through some older games and getting a few achievements I never did here and there. I don't think I'd ever trade in a game again.
So I received my tax refund, and get paid this week. I'm slightly n-word rich. I think I may pick up Just Cause 2, Metro 2033, and pay off World Cup, Alan Wake and Red Dead. Aside from some PS3 games. That's all I really want for the summer.

Ok so...we have another problem.
I had to call my router company today. The lady refused to update my firmware, so she went and reset all of my settings. My internet is working great again, and I can connect to XBL, but I can't get into any games online, so I would presume my connection was reset to strict, even though the NAT setting on my 360 in game in MW2 says it's open.
I need help. It's a Belkin router.

Do you get just a Game Not found or do you get a message saying you have a problem with your connection? Neither. It keeps saying "Searching for games 0/50." Then, the times that it doesn't say that, it kicks me saying I could not migrate to the host or something along those lines.  |

Get out this link guys, free MS points. Apparently it works. Just take out the star between points and generators It's fake. Like every other thing like this. Well, it actually does work. One big problem though. you have to sign up for "surveys" to get each part of the code. I had a prepaid phone layin around that had minutes on it and tried it out. so, technically it cost $10 to get 1600 points, thats how I got the MW2 maps. |

This is an awesome story. If you look in my signature, you'll get the jist of it. I was bored a few days ago and decided to transform my avatar (who was Sheamus in a dapper outfit being chased by Hornswoggle ;D) into Jack Swagger. So, today, I notice that THQFightGroup (who I am friends with) was on, so I decided to hit him up. I basically said, "What do you think of my Swagger-inspired Avatar? Also, could you please make some WWE Avatar items?" Shockingly enough, minutes later, I get a message from THQFightGroup. Here is the full message courtesy Xbox.com  I, naturally, marked like a baby. I had never gotten a response from a video game person, so I was happy. He didn't answer my question about the Avatar items (I have to believe it's Cory Ledesma for that reason alone), but he did like my avatar. If only The Miz could pop in here... EDIT: I am downloading UFC 2009 Undisputed as the Games-On-Demand version and it is taking forever. It's almost been 24 hours since I ordered it yesterday and it's only at 71% and going at a snail's pace. I've actually had to go and change my controller's batteries once during the process. |

Well, if your internet is not that fast, that will hurt the speed. Also, if you are playing any online games while you're downloading, it freezes the download until you stop. The Xbox can download while turned off as long as the download is in progress before being turned off. I'm not sure if you have to turn on that feature, but it should be in the System area. |

It finally downloaded yesterday at 11:28 PM and after I got into Xbox Live, I TKO'd some punk. He sent me a message calling me a "lag fag" (which I deleted) and I am still happy.
Oh, and I have stupid stupid AT&T.
