This is ridiculous. I got away from Xbox Live due to Microsoft's sh*tty service and Sony wants to try and one-up them.

OMG. this thing is annoying as hell... today when i tried signing in on my account it says "error 80710a06" i also thought it was my internet or i got banned or hacked... so is this something to worry about? theres a few game forums where people are also having this problem. when did this problem start for you guys? mine started just minutes ago but in the morning it was fine. i hope this gets fixed soon

Network went down sometime last night. Sony won't say the exact reason but it's a worldwide outage. Tons of articles about this from it being anonymous to an issue in Japan.

PSN went down at 2:20 pm (Sydney, Australia time) as I was online trying to play Uncharted 2. It is now 10:54 am here, so it will soon be down for 24 hours, meaning that PSN could possibly be up soon!

When i tried to sign in today theres a new message saying PSN is currently under going maintenance.
