Look, hands down they are both powerful systems with amazing graphics, BUT.....NOTHING compares to xbox live online gaming on the 360. This is the the single biggest advantage microsoft has over sony. Next would be the exclusives. The ps3 has shown me nothing, while the 360 has given me gears of war, halo 3, dead rising, and bioshock. Not to mention the 360 is cheaper, and GTA 4 is no longer sony exclusive and will be on the 360 next year!! That will be a big blow to the ps3.

I told my mom's friend to get me Rock Band for the 360. So, I guess I committed to it. (!!!)

RROD seems to be the only thing PS3 owners have against the 360.

RROD seems to be the only thing PS3 owners have against the 360. Yeah, I'm hoping I won't run into that soon, if ever. And since it'll be under warranty, it's not like I'd have to buy a new system. I think the main factor is choosing the 360 was the lack of games. Maybe someday I'll have a PS3, but not this year. :\

I have been a Sony guy & I have a PS3. I love it actually. A lot of people don't like PS3 because the Lack of games but there are a lot of nice ones already out and they have a bunch of exclusives that will be out soon Like Socom Confrontation, MGS Series and such. The PS3 online does the trick for me and it's also free. The Playstation store is really great because you can buy full games and they are considerably cheaper than actually buying it. The Six Axis Controllers are really great and it adds a lot to your games. Especially in a WWII fighter pilot game called Blazing Angels. They got great games like Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 that has really amazing graphics and explosions etc. All in all I recommend in you getting a PS3 (80 GB if you still wish to play your PS2 Games.) You will also be able to find some good Christmas Bundles.
