It's a great game. There is A LOT of stragety involved. Don't go into it thinking of something like Warhammer or Age of Empires (obviously).
I'd get it.

Yeah i kinda figured it was stragety because i tried to attack Bombay right from the start (I downloaded the demo) and got absolutely mauled. Seems alright but i've only played the demo as stated above so not sure if it's worth it after the first 100 turns. Is replayability good in the game? I don't wanna buy it and get just 2-3 games out of it and then get heaps bored with it.

Well there are some moments in the game where you just feel like you've done everything you could, but challenging yourself can be pretty.. well.. challenging, and that expands the time you spend with it considerably.
