Ok your probably gunna say this goes in the rockbad/guitar hero thread, I'm sure other people have this problem. Ok So im playin Guitar on RB and i try strumming and the in thing only works when i strum up so it basically is broken. And then idk how this happend im playin drums and my damn bass pedal broke in half and now it doesnt work at all. What should i do about this should i take it back or just try to fix it? Ireally wanna take it back but i figured if it happen in 4 days its probably gunna happen on every set. So what Should i do i dont want to pay all that money and have a piece of crap for everything. I dont know does anyone else have this problem? *200*post

I'd say the pedal is your own fault, I've had no problem with mine. But it's well known that the first batch of guitars that came with RB are faulty. Contact EA and they'll replace it.

::sigh::
Did you read the F'N box? there should be a nice big yellow circle on the box (I can't remember the exact location) but it says something along the lines of "IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY PROBLEMS WITH ANY PERIPHAL, DO NOT RETURN TO STORE, CONTACT HARMONIX CUSTOMER SERVICE"
Harmonix has acknowledged that there were some buggy Guitars that leaked out. Contact their customer service and they will take care of it.

What real opinions do you need?
Harmonix recalled all of the original sets that were released and then on all proceeding shipments had the notice printed on it to help people with what to do in the event that something like this happened with the guitars. From several customers who came back to my store with these defective units, Harmonix was super fast in replacing the peripherals.
So do as the box says. Call them and they will replace it. Most often they do it free of charge.

The Guitar is covered, though I doubt that the drum pedal will be.

send it to harmonix, they'll give you a new one for free and a free EA game, too.
