I play for fun, because your gamerscore doesn't actually show how good or bad you are.Though it is a good thing to show off.

I play for fun. When I see people with like, 50,000 and over, and see that they play Disney Games and movie games, I have a good laugh.

Bit of both really. Gamerscore has encouraged me to complete games on harder difficulties. Its made me a better gamer. Still, it can be improved. Call of Duty 2 and 4 have great achievements, where as Guitar Hero 3's are ridiculous. (Why the hell would i want to complete the game with a normal controller?).

Little bit of both. If there's an incentive for me to do something extra in a game, but requires a little bit more effort, I'll probably just do it. If there's no reason for me to do it, I'll stop. Plus it doesn't hurt that Microsoft has started giving away real prizes for my fake score.

I play for both, games are really fun to play, and the Gamerscore is a great thing to show off.

I like getting surprised by gamerscore. "Achievement Unlocked: Testikill!" is always a fun surprise. I'll attempt at something like, the Rock Band achievements, but I will usually never go out of my way.

Little bit of both, mainly for fun. You can see this by my lackluster GS of 550.

Achievements have ruined me. I keep my games longer even if I've beaten it just to try and get some points. I feel weird playing my PS2 and not getting achievement points for things.

I play because I enjoy the game I'm playing. Achievements just keep me playing them longer.

Both, i like the fun of the game and then its great to see if you do something right you get an acheivement. The acheivements in Bioshock are easy as hell.

Plus it doesn't hurt that Microsoft has started giving away real prizes for my fake score. After I saw you had a 60 year dynasty for NCAA achievement, I lol'ed. I'm determined to get ahead of my friend whose gamerscore is like...800, but after I get past him, I won't care.

Its cool as I get more replay value but its annoying when I cant get one.

The only time I think about achievement points outside of the 360 is if I'm playing an older Guitar Hero game on the PS2. "I'll move up to the expert difficulty now, maybe get some points for beatin....nevermind."

For fun just like I did before gamescore ever came out. I like gamerscore but I want to enjoy the game for the game.

I play for fun until I've beaten the game once or twice... then I go for Gamerscore... especially a game like Guitar Hero. After I unlock all the songs I just play for fun... once I get bored, then I go achievement hunting.

Both. Live for the fun, and the games main story or what ever for the points.
