You know what sucks, every time I turn on my 360 im afraid I'm going to get the thing. That is a crappy feeling. I got my Elite at Best Buy and they gave me a 3 year warranty, and the guy said I can literally walk in, have them test it, and if its broke, they'll hand me another system. Thats awesome and I love that... I think I paid 70 bucks for it but its WELL worth it. But still, Having a feel of getting it still sucks. Picked mine up at Costco. And got a lifetime warranty. They told me if at anytime it gets messed up for any reason to bring it back and they will swap it out for a new one. Thank god. It really is the best way to go.

Yeah....No. I got mine from Best Buy, Got a three year warranty with it, It crapped out just over a year after I got it, I took it in, and they made me send it in, and they said its Microsofts policy and they have to send it away to them BEFORE they can replace it. Their warranties are bs.

Their warranties are bs. Don't know then. The guy told me that there are two policys. He said yes Microsoft comes with its own and Best Buy comes with its which is why I had to pay for. And according to him they'll replace it right then and there. I thought it was odd too and he said its what they do so i took it. Guess I'll never find out till it breaks...so i guess I never want to find out...

You get the Marvel Ultimate Alliance game and an extra wireless controller and a charger for the controller. It's a nice bundle pack.

I bought mine at launch and have had no problems. I didn't buy a warranty, and I am glad I didn't.

When my 360 got the RRoD, I got a free month of LIVE as compensation. Better than nothing I suppose.
