I got a new controller for Christmas for my 360 and it won't connect to the system. It is a black one if that helps.

maybe press the button on the top of the controller near the batery so it will search for a wireless conection if not i dont kno man

yeah, push the button on the xbox and the controller so that they both look for each other

Yes, it is called synchronizing. What happens is, there are certain buttons on the controller and the system. You press the controller button first, then press the one on the XBOX 360. (It's the same thing for the Wii, so that's where I got it from) It should say something about it if it comes with an instruction manual or something. I dunno but that's what I think..
