Watching the classic I Spit On Your Grave.
As for top releases of the year...I dunno, I haven't seen much worth a craphonestly haha.

As far as dvd/blu releases go though, it's been a good year.

what does everyone feel are the top 5/10 horror movies of 2010? Frozen is the best for sure. Then the rest fit in in no order.. Daybreakers REC 2 Shutter Island The Wolfman Crazies Piranha 3D |

It's just one of the absolute worst films I've seen in my entire life (which does include a lot of films) and the worst movie of the year by a county mile, and this is coming from someone who saw The Last Airbender 3D (it was a free preview, mind). |

So, I just watched "The Wolfman." I enjoyed it a lot. The first half hour or so was incredibly slow, but around the time right before he was taken to the asylum, it picked up and had me hooked.
All in all, I was very impressed.

I watched parts of the Scream awards. I find the focus isn't on horror enough any more. I know that they don't try to pretend that it is, but they really focus on fantasy now.

The Walking Dead - Days Gone Bye (1x01)  Daaaaaaamn, so good! Tense and scary without relying on cheap jump scares, well acted, there's a couple really depressing/sad moments, and probably the best looking zombies yet. It's very actiony but it has some nice drawn out quiet scenes considering the guy's alone for most of it. The ending could not have gotten me more on board for the next episode. AMC is killin' the competition.

Walking Dead has some of the best Zombies since the remake of Night of The Living Dead came out 20 years ago. I've heard some of the zombies are reoccurring meaning we will see them slowly decay as the season progresses.
Maybe I'm just excited and exaggerating since the show is still fresh on my mind, but I honestly think this is the best zombie related thing put on film in the last few decades.
Lets just hope this show gets good ratings and has a long life. I'm really hoping to see where they take this, one of my favorite storylines in the comic involved the prison and that weird cult/group of survivors, I'm hoping it makes it onto the show at some point.

anyone a fan here of Being Human? i got hooked when season 1 aired on BBC America and went and downloaded season 2 before it aired here.... need to check out the season 1 dvd rips/bbc rips because the american version is quite censored for TV, but great show none the less. definately worth checking out.
