I assume I'm the only one here anticipating the Blu-Ray release of 'A Nightmare On Elm Street'. Yes, the 2010 one. I am proudly the movie's only fan .

Indeed you are, don't think I ever heard a single person say they didn't hate it. I will still watch it pretty soon, no clue why though.

Watched The Last Exorcism last night.
Terrible, terrible film. The only parts interesting are learning about the pastor's backstory and life. The minute it turns into a horror film, it goes into a tailspin until it crashes in a fireball of fail.

I didn't think Extinction was that bad. It was good for action.

RE: Extinction tonight god help me Extinction was meh. I rewatched it again earlier today to get ready for Afterlife. I honestly think the first RE movie is just awesome! Second one wasnt too bad but man the third one took a turn. The zombies looked cool though. Lets hope with this bigger budget and REAL 3D we can see some AWESOME action and a somewhat decent story.

Didnt see this posted, Im hyped as shit:
In a recent interview, Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell says he is looking to make The Expendables of horror films. Entitled Bruce vs. Frankenstein, Campbell sees it being in the same vein as Sly Stallone's ultimate guy movie, but for horror fans.
"Yeah, The Expendables, or more like the It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World of horror," Campbell said. "I want to get so many horror movie stars that people can't possibly not see the movie. I want to give them other stuff to do. I want to have Kane Hodder be very particular about what he eats. I want Robert Englund to be a tough guy, like he knows tae kwon do or something. I want to find out the hidden sides of all these people. Some will play themselves, some will play alternate characters as well."
The iconic actor continued, "I may approach Kane Hodder to play Frankenstein. He could be Kane Hodder himself fighting himself as Frankenstein. It could be crazy. It's a silly concocted story that we hope to do maybe in a year or so."
But how far along are his plans? "There's a script, it just kind of blows right now, so no one's really seeing it. We gotta work on it. Definitely shoot in Oregon all on a stage. It's like the 300 of horror comedies. We want to make it a whole world. Someone's gotta take Frank down for good."

Going to see Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D tomorrow. It will blow, though going to see Cyrus later in the day, which should get rid of the bad taste left by Resi Evil.

Anyone know if its any good? I'm a pretty big zombie film fanatic and I can safely say that Survival of the Dead was the worst of the George A. Romero films.

Thats lame because ive been wanting to rent it for weeks but my Blockbuster only has 1 copy on Blu. Now I noticed today they have it in stock so I was planning on renting it tonight. Worth a shot.
My new goal this year is to get this thread to page 1000 by Halloween! Who's with me?
