I may save it. I only go to the theater to see horror movies. I'm not gonna see Hostel in the theater because it doesn't look that great. Just some random movie about torture.

No, that was Wolf Creek. It literally has no plot or reasoning. Hostel does.

You are the first person i heard for the past year and a half saying they dont want to see Hostel. Eli Roth is a great director of the horror genre. But its your choice dude if you dont want to see a movie of just Brutality, Violence, Gore, and all the other stuff. Its going to be brutal, all im saying is that there is not much horror movies these days that have the brutal gore and stuff. Its now bunch of PG-13 crap..well some horror can still be good with the PG-13 rating. About Wolf Creek, even though its a good movie. I would save from seeing Wolf Creek in the theatre..

When a Stranger Calls looks decent. For a remake it looks pretty sweet. Final Destination 3 too, that is gonna be cool.

Hell yeah, I want to see Final Destination up a theme park. And yes, save Wolf Creek for DVD or something.

You don't have to have over the top brutal violence and sadistic torture to be a "good" horror movie. Too many people base how good a horror movie is by how much gore is involved. I think a prime example is House of 1000 Corpses. Which was a terribly mediocre movie. However, it was praised because of people saying "whoa! hardcore horror!" My favorite film of all-time Halloween is a perfect example of how you don't need gore and brutal violence to make a good horror flick. Halloween is just straight forward and very story driven. I don't care for gore at all. I never said I wasn't going to watch Hostel, I just said I wasn't gonna see it in theaters. Eli Roth is cool, but he's only directed Cabin Fever so far. I'll have to see a bit more to develop a strong opinion of him as a director.

well this day and age, if I go see a horror movie, I want to see blood and gore or im not gonna be too pleased. Halloween is of course a great movie but if something like that were to come along these days I dont know that it would be as popular. I expect plenty of violence and bloodshed in my horror movies

Bloodshed can be good if necessary. I just don't like when it's there just to be there.
Hell, the Evil Dead's are some of my favorite movies and the gore is so over the top it's great.

Halloween 4 and 5 were on AMC the other night. How random lol. AMC plays Halloween 4 and 5 quite often. Especially on Fridays when they run a little horror marathon. It's pretty cool.

I own the Halloween boxset. It's from China, but all the discs are region 1. It's sexy.
