HORROR NEWS OF THE DAY'I Am Legend' Taking Over New YorkDark Horizons discovered that Warner Brothers is close to a deal to rent New York's Kingsbridge Armory as a studio set for a movie version of Richard Matheson's famous apocalyptic novel I Am Legend reports the New York Daily News. Warner is in the process of closing a deal to rent the entire 190,950-square-foot first floor interior of the armory for seven months from February 27th through September 30th. I Am Legend, which was originally set in Los Angeles, centers on the lone survivor of a plague that has transformed the world's population into blood-sucking vampires. 'Alien vs Predator 2' Confirmed for 2007 (Maybe)Heres the link to the article: www.bloody-disgusting.com/index.php?Show=5681&Template=newsfullI found a very interesting interview by Wes Craven on Bloody-Disgusting.com heres a link to the interview. Wes Craven talks about Scream 4, Red Eye 2, and The Hills Have Eyes remake and other things. Lee Ermey, Jordana Brewster, Andrew Bryniarski, Taylor Handley, Matthew Bomer, Diora Baird, Heather Kafka, Lee Tergesen, Marietta Marich, and Terrence Evans. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman the story takes us back to 1969, where two brothers embark on a road trip across Texas with their girlfriends. They soon run into trouble when they cross paths with a maniacal sheriff and are taken to a house of horrors. Within waits a man who'll be groomed to become the thing known as Leatherface. The track "Foxy, Foxy" has been selected as the first single from it and should surface next month. In addition, Bullet For My Valentine have been added to the Zombie's previously announced run with Lacuna Coil. This will mark the return of Mr. Zombie to the music world after he had originally claimed his touring days were over. Rob has directed both Lionsgate releases House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects Thats all of the horror news that i found interesting...i think Red Eye 2 would be pretty cool if they make it right for a cool plot. I cant wait for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Alien vs. Predator 2 will probably be terrible..

I would personally prefer a sequel but they way they played on the remake it would be kind of hard to do. They would have to set it in modern times I would imagine and that would take away from it for me for some odd reason. The pics look great. Can't wait.

If Alien vs Predator 2 was rated R and brutal like the films SHOULD be they would kick loads of ass.

Alien vs Predator was a decent movie. I mean, how are they gonna do it? The momma alien is in the bottom of the ocean and all of the other aliens died in the explosion. Hmm, oughta be interesting. I still want to see the 2003 version of TCM.

The 2003 version is much more entertaining than the original in my opinion. Of course, Jessica Biel kind of does that to you.

Me too, TCM is a great franchise, which has had too many sloppy sequels, so I hope the prequel is at least entertaining.

Me too, TCM is a great franchise, which has had too many sloppy sequels, so I hope the prequel is at least entertaining. I have enjoyed most of the TCM films. Personally, I think TCM 2 is one of the most entertaining horror/comedy movies ever made. TCM III is entertaining in its own right but could have been better had it have had any sense of continuity whatsoever. But it's a pretty brutal film. I dig it. TCM: The Next Generation was the first attempt at a remake and it's one of the most hated horror films ever. But I think Matthew McConaughey was really good in the film. I really liked his character.

TCM prequel's gonna be cool although it looks like the sequel to the remake.
AVP was really bad, stupid sequels.

I bet you anything, Pat, that if When a Stranger Calls was R Rated, you'd be going "omGz dat l00kz s0 c00l!!1!" My main reason for not wanting to see it is that I think the original was one hell of a terrible movie. The first few minutes were decent but the rest of it was just awful and boring. I just don't expect much from this one. It would be hard even for the opening to be spooky in the least because it appears to be exactly the same as the original during this part. It's just played out.

When a Stranger Calls looks so awful. So do post 1989 Bill Murray movies Now that i'm gonna have to disagree with. Let's see.... Broken Flowers, Life Aquatic, Lost in Translation, Coffee and Cigarettes, Rushmore..Murray at his finest! And I know you mean his newer stuff, but Kingpin, Ed Wood, Groundhog Day, and What About Bob were all post 1989.

When a Stranger Calls is going to be pretty good..from the trailers i saw though, every movie looks awesome in the trailers but some movies end up being ****.
Heres a question, from all of the trailers for horror movies youve seen and thinking "that looks f'n awesome!" but the movie ends up being a big dissapointment and a peice of ****? I cant think of any horror films that looked good in the trailer but ended up being a dissapointment.
