I agree with you, devils rejects is what you call an ingenius and great horror movie.

heres a question though, What is the most underrated horror movie/s? I think the original Hills Have Eyes and Wrong Turn are the two most underrated horror films..but there are alot more. I dont understand why alot of people hated Wrong Turn. I thought it was an awesome movie.

Get Ready for 'Masters of Horror' Round 2!

Showtime Networks has ordered a second season of IDT Entertainment’s critically acclaimed anthology series, MASTERS OF HORROR, it was announced today by Robert Greenblatt, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc. Thirteen new, one-hour episodes, to be produced by IDT Entertainment, will feature the most prominent and exciting directors in the horror genre and will premiere in Fall 2006.

The first season, which USA Today called “a horror hall of fame,” premiered on SHOWTIME in Fall 2005 and featured such horror film notables as Dario Argento (“Suspiria,” “Opera”), John Carpenter (“Halloween,” “The Thing”), Larry Cohen (“It’s Alive”), Don Coscarelli (“Phantasm,” “Bubba Ho-tep”), Joe Dante (“The Howling,” “Gremlins”), Mick Garris (“Riding the Bullet,” “The Stand”), Stuart Gordon (“Re-Animator”), John Landis (“An American Werewolf in London”), Tobe Hooper (“Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Poltergeist”) William Malone (“FeardotCom”), Lucky McKee (“May”) and John McNaughton (“Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer”) directing original one-hour films.

“Showtime has been a wonderful partner,” says IDT Entertainment COO John W. Hyde. “We look forward to providing the world’s leading horror filmmakers a supportive environment in which they can express their creative vision.”

Masters of Horror grew out of an informal bi-monthly dinner attended by many of the horror genre’s most highly regarded directors. Mick Garris transformed their collective desire to work together into reality, and will continue to serve as the series’ showrunner


Raimi's Ghost House Finds Their 'Siren'

Looks like Sam Raimi's Ghost House has purchased the rights to the Playstation 2 horror game Siren. The game is a pretty sweet horror survival game and thankfully this one isn't going to be touched by Our favorite Dr. Uwe Boll. Ghost House Pictures has acquired the film rights to Japanese vidgame "Siren" from SCE Worldwide Studios, Sony Computer Entertainment's worldwide game development studios for the PlayStation platforms.

Michael Gordon has been hired to write the screenplay. He'll work closely with "Siren" vidgame director Keiichiro Toyama.

Ghost House's Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert will produce with Vertigo Entertainment's Roy Lee and Doug Davison. Vertigo brought the project to Mandate Pictures prexy of motion pictures Nathan Kahane. Ted Adams of IDW and Rick Privman of JEA will exec produce.

Shooting is expected to begin this year.

"Siren" is a bestselling vidgame in Japan that has already spawned a soon-to-be-released sequel. The film version will focus on an American med school student searching for her missing sister in Japan. She begins her investigation in the remote mountain village of Hanuda, only to find herself trapped with an unspeakable evil that can no longer be contained.

Gordon wrote Warner Bros.' "300," based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller. That film is currently shooting; Gerard Butler stars.

Upcoming pics for Ghost House include "The Grudge 2" and David Slade's "30 Days of Night," based on the comicbook by Steve Niles, both for Sony.

Siren is an awesome game. The movie could be awesome since Uwe (director of House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, and Bloodrayne) wont ruin the movie. Masters of Horror Season Two should be cool.

WTF, the final Silent Hill posters suck. I could've won if it wasn't just US.

I thought Wrong Turn was sweet. It had a cool setting.

I never bothered watching it. I did watch the Japanese version and thought it was pretty horrible. So I knew the American version probably wasn't any better. I heard people actually say that the Japanese version of The Grudge was scary. Can't say much about the American version because I don't know the differences but I guess there's nothing scarier than a big black cloud of smoke with eyes. That was the stupidest looking and most unfrightening ghost I've ever seen in a film.

Amber Tamblyn is decent looking so hey. I've never seen the first Grudge though. It looks too horrible.

I think the "american" version of the Grudge is not that great..but its still not that bad. But "Ju-On:The Grudge" is the best, its awesome. I like The Eye films the sequel is pretty cool.

What is everyone's favorite foreign horror movie?

I really love The Eye. I didn't care for the sequel though. There was something about ghosts crawling in and out of a womans anatomy that really turned me against the film.
