Meh, Blair Witch Project is on IFC in Canada right now. Too bad I have to get up early or I'd watch it. I watched it for the FIRST time on IFC last time. I've heard a lot of people hating on it, but I thought it was pretty good. Great original concept for the time, the acting was pretty good, and the fact that I had no idea what was going on, made it creepy at times. I guess you either hate it or love it.

It's great horror, I liked Blair Witch 2 even more.

I went to Texas Frightmare Weekend on Friday, had Hooper sign my TCM 2 poster, talked with Forsythe and a few others. All and all a pretty good convention.

Watched HEAPS of horrors lately..
The Hills Have Eyes
I had seen it before, but I didn't remember it too well. I liked it a lot. The mutants were freaky and quite scary. Good film. 3.5/5
The Hills Have Eyes 2
Not quite as good as the first, but still pretty good. The mutants were still pretty cool. 3/5
Zombies Zombies Zombies
B-Grade Zombie movie. Pretty cool effects, hilariously awesome and it didn't try to be more than it is, so thats always good. 3/5
Zombies aka. Wicked Little Things
Wasn't too bad, but the zombies weren't really zombies. They reminded me more of nocturnal Children of the Corn kids. Not bad, not memorable. 2.5/5
The Zombie Diaries
Not bad at all. Done in a very realistic way, storyline wise. Very believable. Not an amazing movie, but wasnt bad. 3/5
Freddy vs. Jason
Ever since it came out, I've loved this movie. I've heard a lot of negative bashing, but hey, I liked it. 3.5/5
Dragonball Evolution
Eh, I guess its not a horror.... but it was so terrible that I got scared watching it and had nightmares.

Blair Witch was good. I don't care what anyone says....It scared me. I got that on DVD years ago for £4. I love it. Every so often, i watch it full blast, with the lights off. Freaks me out all the time. I honestly, don't see why people didn't like it. It seemed very realistic. I watched "Alien Abuduction - The Mcpherson Tape the other day, and that freaked me out to. Has anyone seen Guinea Pig 3: Flowers of Flesh and Blood?
I watched this the other day, its so brutal. Not really got a storyline though, so I don't know whether it could count as a horror, more an exploitation flick.
Just wondering what everyone else's thoughts on this are.

Is it just me or is it usually only girls who don't like Cloverfield?
They just like to complain to me about how it made them feel sick...yet I LOVED IT. I was obsessed with like the backstory and secrets for the longest time.

Cloverfield 2 may or may not be as good. I liked it though despite how much hate it got at the time. I actually got semi motion sick from watching it when I saw it in theaters the week before it came out.

Yesterday I watched
Waxwork Westworld Underworld 2 & 3
I'm surprised I liked the Underworlds at all. I can't believe big budget CGI-fests actually managed to have a half decent story.

The first had some really great cinematography when it came to the guys in costumes for the werewolves. I think it took away from the movies when they got a bigger budget and started doing almost all CGI wolves.

I've never seen that film, but i've seen clips of it, on a documentary about "Snuff" films. From what i saw, it looked pretty gory.
