I'm not a big fan of that poster. It looks kind of cheap and fan made.
Any of you horror gurus have any of the BCI exploitation/grindhouse double features?
I see they're releasing one with The Forest/Don't Go In The Woods, two titles I'm interested in, I'm just curious how the transfers and features are, if I should grab the double feature or pick them up separately.

I watched Freddy Vs. Jason last night.
I forgot how much i love the film. The fact that the two biggest icons are meeting was amazing.

I saw the Halloween remake previously as well as Friday the 13th part 3. What do u guys think of both movies? I am genuinely surprised by the number of people who don't like this film. I count the original Halloween in my top 5 movies of all time so approached this expecting to be disappointed; in fact I sat glued to the screen for the film's entirety. I think it's because this film keeps you on the edge by delivering the story from a new angle and it is more like a remake and a prequel in one. You learn a lot about the young Michael Myers and the role his dysfuntional family play in his evolution to psychopath. The script is intelligent - providing drama to go with the horror. Friday The 13th - Part 3I thought this is probably the best Friday the 13th film after THE FINAL CHAPTER and has some pretty good death scenes. This film had a decent story to it, but it's still not much different from some of the others (bunch of people go to Camp Crystal Lake, they get killed one by one by god-knows-what type of sharp steel garden tool or machete then one extremely exausted, half naked, woman who is soaked in blood kills Jason.......again!). But nomatter how similar it is to the other films it's still an amazing movie. I for one love all the Jason movies. |

Saw Midnight Meat Train last night, fun stupid film, ending sucked. 8/10 until last 15 minutes which brings it down to a 6.5/10

Saw Midnight Meat Train last night, fun stupid film, ending sucked. 8/10 until last 15 minutes which brings it down to a 6.5/10 Midnight Train is worth watching. The hammer to the back of the head is great! |
