I'm still waiting to see reviews for H2 before I decide whether or not it's worth my money and time.
I ignored the bad reviews last time and gave Rob the benefit of the doubt and ended up paying the ultimate price for that mistake.

Since we've been talking about Fall coming, I had to rake the leaves in my backyard tonight. Really early, but what can you do. Really put me in the mood to watch Halloween.
Side note, Zombie's Halloween was on tv here in Canada last night. I watched bits of it and didn't like it this time.

penis pump? I just watched the original Wolf Man about a week ago. This remake could be interesting depending on how it's handled.

The one thing about H2 that just doesn't sit right with me is that from the look's of it, they kill the sheriff's daughter. Why have her survive the first one just to be killed in the second?

I'm just sayin' Anyway, the thing that bothers me is Loomis. He's more into being a celebrity than hunting Michael. Loomis should never believe that Michael is dead. Zombie's Halloween movies are just too much like Bizarro World to me.

Yeah. That happens in a lot of horror flicks. Nancy survives Nightmare 1 only to die in the third. Alice survives Friday the 13th only to die in part 2. Jamie Lloyd survives Halloween 4 and 5 only to die in 6.

Annie is the perfect example. She actually had less screen time in F13 part 2 than Rachel had in Halloween 5.

I totally forgot that Nancy died... oh now my heart is crushed.

Can someone update me on Trick R Treat? What's it about? Is it coming to DVD or still in theaters? Thanks! I absolutely love this thread btw

Direct to DVD on October 6th.
I stole the plot summary from Wiki
The film is an anthology of five Halloween-related scary stories. One thing that ties the stories together is the presence of Sam, a mysterious pint-sized trick-or-treater with a burlap pumpkin mask, who makes an appearance in all the stories, as a 'friendly-reminder' to those who break the Halloween traditions.
Nothing is what it seems when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a jack-o'-lantern before midnight; a terrifying principal (Dylan Baker) with a serial killer attitude teaches one neighbor the true meaning of Halloween; Laurie (Academy Award-winner Anna Paquin), a young woman dressed as Little Red Riding Hood, is stalked by a mysterious hooded figure at a local Halloween festival; a group of pranksters go too far and discover the horrifying truth buried in a local urban legend of a school bus massacre; and a cantankerous old hermit (Brian Cox), is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick.
Things turn deadly as strange creatures of every variety — human and otherwise — try to survive the scariest night of the year.
The customs and "rituals" of the holiday were published with the film's merchandising tie-ins (namely the Sideshow Collectibles figure):
Wear a costume. Hand out treats. Never blow out a jack-o'-lantern. And always check your candy.

Finally watched the Last House remake. It was much better than I expected. I just watched that one too. It was pretty decent but way too long in my opinion. I think they could have cut out half an hour and still told the same story. Kind of weird casting too with Monica Potter as the mom and Tony Goldwyn as the dad. I still think of Ghost every time I see him.
