H20 was on last night. Way better than I remembered it being.

my favorite part of H20 is when the teenager is sitting in the chair with a Ice Skate in his head

Anybody met Bruce Campbell at a convention or anything?
And if so, does he sign anything?
I want him to sign my Evil Dead book of the dead.

My favorite Halloween H20 Scene would be when Michael is knocking over the tables. If that movie had of had the original soundtrack, or something similar it would have been even better

Maybe a random question, or maybe a question that's already been talked about. But - why do you guys think (or is there a fact answer) Rob Zombie puts out Halloween 1 and now 2 in August, rather then closer to Halloween - later September, or October?

One reason has to be the Saw films, which have been ingrained as Halloween programming for the last few years. People still pay to see them, so why compete?

H20 and Resurrection came out in August also. I believe they feel that this way they can cash in on the summer movie season.
I can't actually pin point my favorite scene in H20, but my least favorite was Laurie cutting off Michaels head.

I'm pumped to see H2. I heard Zombie's interview on Howard Stern last week, and Rob didn't seem to into it. He said he didn't really even want to make H2 - but he had heard that another company was going to do it, and it would become a straight to DVD release. Instead of them ruining it, he changed his mind and shot the movie afterall. It only took about 5-6 months to film.

I can't believe how much Zombie has spit on this franchise.

Do any Canadians here on WF know by chance what Halloween 2 will be rated in Ontario? Zombie's Halloween was only Rated 14A to my surprise and I was wondering if this too would be 14A although I get the feeling that it'll be 18A.

I have no idea, but I'm guessing either 14A or 18.

I'm not sure if this has been posted or not yet, but I figured I'd share: www.break.com/index/cut-slide-movie-montage.htmlIt's a montage of "Cut Slide" deaths from various movies, most of them horror (which is why I figured this would be the most appropriate place for it). I apologize if it's been posted already.

Anybody catch Rob Zombie on Kimmel tonight/last night? Jimmy was trying to ponder why Rob would release Halloween in August instead of closer to Halloween. Rob Basically said, "it worked last time , and that it's all about anticipation." Continued to go on and say "By the time November 1st comes around - nobody would care about it. ( Halloween will be over obviously by then). Well, if it worked - that's fine, but why doesn't he just release it October 1st? 1 whole Month of anticipation before Halloween hits.

Unfortunately due to my recent promotion I will not be able to attend Scare Fest this year. I can't take off an entire weekend during peak season I may however be able to go next year. I had to sit out Monster Mania as well for the sake of my girlfriend. She was dating someone "making a movie" for 4-5 years and always has a table there to raise funds (which he blows instantly). We just thought it would be in poor taste to attend this year. In GOOD news...I can buy DVDs again! Any good Blu horror sales going on?!?!
