Have fun guys!
For some odd reason I want to check out Sorority Row and/or Whiteout. One looks like a silly fun slasher and the other one doesnt appeal to much to me..but my god I cant believe it got the R rating lol.. Ugh which to see.. first.

I can not find a horror movie that will scare me sh*tless :-( I've got the same problem. I think I've been desensitized. I've been watching horror movies since I was 11 and I'm 35 now. I still love them but rarely get a scare from them. Laugh if you want but the last movie that actually scared me was 'Signs'.

Last one that truly scared me was REC. REC was awesome but I saw it after Quarantine so I felt like I had been on this ride before.

Sitting in my room after an pretty awesome and long day from Scare Fest horror & paranormal convention in Lexington, KY. Just wanted to check in to give you guys a hello.
First thing that happened was I ran into Kane Hodder when I entered the hotel. He was eating so I didn't bother him. We exchanged a nod. I then got on the elevator with Scy Fy channel's Ghost Hunters. We just talked about movies. lol.
I've gotten the chance to hang with Wickedbeard (VERY GOOD JASON COSTUME MAKER) a few times today. The dude is just an awesome guy. Can't say enough good about him and his girl Angela. Great people. He is very dedicated in what he does and his work up close is truly professional. I got to see one Wickedbeard costume last year. In day one, I've already put my eyes on 3 of them. He's donned his Jason Goes to Hell, Friday VIII, and Jason X (which you have to see to believe). Due to the fact that crowd reactions do a lot of the talking during the contests, he was robbed of the professional costume contest being as though a lot of the entries had a lot of people in tow. He did get a heck of a reaction though and got a pretty awesome scream from Dee Wallace! Jeff told me that he had no idea how many pics he had taken with fans today thus far.
I've sported my costume at the benevolentstreet.com table for a few hours. We took down names for costume ball attendees and gave away a 19 inch NECA Jason remake figure and a 2009 Jason Living Dead Doll. We got to meet a lot of cool people and I posed for some Jason pics with many of them. Didn't get a pic with him, But I met Rant for the first time at the benevolentstreet.com table. Very cool to finally meet the guy.
I was so tied up at the table, that I have yet to make it over to star row!! That's on tomorrow's agenda without a doubt. I did get the chance to talk to James Hampton (Teen Wolf) and his wife. I did an interview with Hampton a few months ago. He and his wife were very grateful and his wife actually came to our table and found me which was quite cool of her.
Without a doubt, day one has been great and I look forward to day two!
I'll do my best to drop a note tomorrow if I get the chance.

It was rad meeting you sir, hope to spend a few minutes chilling at the table tomorrow. Meet Ken Foree tonight, it was such a killer thing. Chatted with Kane for a bit, got him to sign my copy of Grind, which got quite the reaction from him, apparently no one else has asked him to sign copies of it.
Spent way too much at merch stands, had to run to the car 3 times just to put crap away. Gotta make time to meet the rest of the stars tomorrow.

Definitely dude. I probably wont' spend AS MUCH time at the table tomorrow but I'll definitely be around. Hit me up! Just getting up. Got up a little earlier than I wanted to. But it's almost time to start day 2. I don't have a lot of time to get all of the pics up. But here are a few for you guys for the time being. I'll start a seperate Scare Fest thread when I get time to get all of the pics up. Josh and I getting the benevolentstreet.com table ready Then Josh getting killed Wickedbeard and I in his Jason Goes to Hell and my part VI His part VIII costume is a site to behold in person! My wife and I went to triangle park outside of the convention after the costume ball. It was quit entertaining in costume since the casual out of towner had no idea that there was a convention going on at all. When we were walking back, this group of teenage girls saw me coming and started screaming. They actually ran into the fountain! They were kind of giggly and screaming at the same time as we started walking by them. Just before we got by them I suddently stopped and was staring straight ahead. I Heard one of them say "Oh my God..." under her breath and I turned very quickly to face them and it was like you set off an alarm! They all started screaming like crazy. I then just turned and walked away as I was afraid they were going to fall and hurt themselves in that fountain. lol. Funny stuff. Later today, I'll try to get some pics up from star row as I plan on spending most of the day over there.

Can i just tell you guys real quick how hard it was to find Thirteen Ghosts on DVD? Sh*t, only like one store in MA had it, it was a real challange to find. I just watched it a few weeks ago on MTV and really liked it. Funny, since I saw it the first time when I was around 13 and thought it was stupid

Watch Colin with Sucka at Scarefest last night. I was not impressed. The make up effects were pretty damn good, but the story itself falls flat on its face about 20 minutes into it. Not sure of the exact running time, but it felt like a 4 hour movie.

I just got home and I'm beat! Such an amazing and memorable weekend. Lot's of stories to tell and doors opened. I'll talk about more of that stuff later and get some pics up. I should have gotten a pic with Rant while I was there! UGH! lol. But it was great chatting with you and hanging out and watching a flick. Definitely a pleasure dude. As for Colin, I loved and hated it at the same time. The idea was great. The make up, great. The overall storyline, great. The camera work considering it was shot with a freaking camcorder was great. The overall execution...that's where it fell a little for me. It seemed like it would have made a MUCH better short film as opposed to full length as at times, it didn't seem like the director knew when enough was enough and it was time to move along. It was pretty slow. Still cool to have seen it and I'll have to think a little more on it. I liked it for the most part, but it's not a film that I am wanting to see again anytime soon.

Yea that one looks like a download. I started watching Deliverance today...not necessarily horror, but terrifying to me! I don't want to be raped in the woods!
