I would likely contribute more, but I'm a little dedicated to this thread and most anything horror related that I have to say on here, I put in here. lol. I'll see what I can come up with though.

I've been trying to think of some more obscure movies to post in that thread. I've been drawing a blank lately. Seriously, I'm waaaay over due to watch some horror movies. The last one I watched was Let The Right One In, and that was about a month ago. I almost rented the Last House On The Left remake the other day, but got Twilight for my wife instead. My Girl is die hard Twilight - loves it. What's Let The Right One In like? I've heard a lot about it, but what's it about exactly? A young boy is bullied and treated like crapby his peers, then a girl moves into his building, and things progress from there. I'm not sure if they have fixed the subtitles on the DVD yet, if it doesn't say "Theatrical Subtitles" on the back of the box you should hold off on watching it. The ones that came on the first DVD ruin the movie. Picked up the Producers cut of Halloween 6 at the Scarefest, going to make some time to watch it sometime pretty soon.

So it's a foreign/non American film? All subtitles? I would probably get it from netflix or blockbuster online - do you think they'd have the version your talking about?

Rented 2 recent British horror films the past couple of days, The Children and Mum & Dad. The Children was AWESOME, loved it. First time I've been scared by a movie in a LOOOOONG time, starts off a bit slow/crap but god damn it kicks in and it is awesome. The kids are some of the creepiest kids in cinema I've seen for a long time, some gnarly kills, good performances, an all round treat. Very highly reccommended. The second film is Mum & Dad. There is nothing good or redeeming about this film. I love watching a really sick and twisted ed up film but this has no characters to care about, no real story and the performances and dialogue are SHIT. Do not see this movie, at any cost, it is one of the worst films I've ever seen

I'd say they likely have the non theatrical subtitles if I was guessing. Do not watch the DVD with the voiceovers under any circumstances. Those are seriously the worst voiceovers I have ever heard in my entire life. Just dreadful. Did you watch Let the Right one in at Scarefest Rant? I was curious which subtitles it had.

I didn't get out of bed until 2 on Sunday since I had to drive up to Cincinnati to see The Ataris play a gig. I didn't even make it to the midnight screening on Saturday night. I got in my car to drive to The Kentucky and fell asleep before I pulled out. Woke up a 1 AM and decided that I needed to get some sleep, I hadn't had a good nights sleep since Tuesday, it finally caught up to me.

I've had a few long ass nights, enough to know that when you hit that wall, you stop fighting and find a bed.

Sooo tempted to start decorating....soooo tempted......
Anyway, yeah, Let The Right One In was good, but not really what I was hoping for.
I did end up getting Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and H20 today. Really happy about that. We were supposed to go buy some Halloween candy, too but that fell through.

I finally got around to watching a movie I picked up a while ago the other day.. "Wind Chill." At first I was 50/50, but the more I think about it the more I think I like it.. It really makes you think. Anybody else seen this?

Freezing outside this morning! There was a creepy fog out there too. What does this have to do with horror? Ummmmm, Evil Dead kicks ass! There, now it's horror related...and one step closer to page 1000.

Deep Discount already has a Halloween sale going, but they're so expensive nowadays! I was blown away by how high their prices have soared.
