Same. Hes just awesome in this film like he is in all of his others. This man need more credit for his work. He's been stealing the film in a lot of his recent work. Alpha Dog, 3:10 to Yuma (he may not steal it from Crowe, but he hangs right in there with him), and I found him to be the most enjoyable part of 30 Days of Night. Not bad at all in The Punisher either. I'd love to see him get more work. |

I would have to agree. I loved him in ALL of those films listed above. I didnt even know it was him in Punisher at first.
But Pandorum is a movie that you have to see if your a fan. Of course there are some stupid parts in the film(any of those "action fighting" scenes in the trailer) But for the intense sci fi space journey on board with these awesome looking creatures its just a great time.
Ben Foster finally gets a the main role. I just loved it. Might have to see it again in a week or so.
Again the ONLY things I hated were those stupid "survivors" that are shown in the trailer. Its like Foster is walking down the creepy hallway then some surviving ninja comes kicking him down and doing this karate. If you can look past those 10 mins than its a very enjoyable film. Very science fiction which is great. The effects are nice. Its very dark and creepy.

at 9:00 pm on SYFY they are showing what looks to be a new children of the corn it says it was made in 09 im gonna check it out i tell you all what i think about after.

just got down watching it
was a good movie took a bit to get good then it was over so most of the movies was boring until towards the end ill give it a 7/10

Anyone seen MARTYRS? The comments about it are all saying how disturbing it is. People puking at screenings. I was gonna rent it last night, but my girlfriend's Blockbuster membership "vanished." Downloading. I'd go ahead and say the French are the current masters of horror.  |

Don't get it at Blockbuster. I made the mistake of buying it at Walmart and got the cut version. I've heard the unrated is much better.

I too have Trick 'r Treat now, seeing it tommorrow though with a group of friends that I've been bugging about this film for a while now, can't wait to see it. That Martyrs looks badass

Also got this:  Rickie and JT are kids from the wrong side of the tracks. One afternoon, the pair skip class, and entertain themselves by slamming beers and causing mischief at an abandoned mental hospital. Breaking through a rusted door that leads into a boiler room, they discover the naked body of a woman strapped to a gurney and draped in plastic. At first they suspect they have stumbled into the lair of a deranged killer, but the rusted entrance is proof that no one else has been in the space for years. This is awesome.  Sam (Donahue) is a pretty college sophomore, so desperate to earn some cash for a deposit on an apartment that she accepts a babysitting job even after she finds out there is no baby. Mr. and Mrs. Ulman (cult actors Noonan and Woronov) are the older couple who lure Sam out to their creeky Victorian mansion deep in the woods, just in time for a total lunar eclipse. Megan (Gerwig) is Sam’s best friend, who gives her a ride out to the house, and reluctantly leaves her there despite suspecting that something is amiss.
