This movie was more thriller than horror, but I'm sure some of you have seen it. I can't remember the title of the movie.
It was about a little girl...I think she was 8. There was something special about her and her family was fighting over her. The only scene I remember was the girls grandmother stabbed the girls mother's boyfriend in the eyes with crochet needles. I rebmember seeing it sometime between 2000-2002. I just don't remember.
Can anyone give me a hand?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Where did you get the white hair for the old man Shredded up some cotton materials with a wire brush. It takes some work and it can be a little painful if you slip! But it's all in the name of getting it done sometimes. lol.

Watched Trick r Treat earlier and I love it and dislike it.
I love it because of everythng really, the setting, the theming, the holiday-of-Halloween-spirit, the dialogue, everything. But I dislike it because I wanted more damn it!
The film FLEW by, seriously, it felt like a 30 minute piece but instyead it was an 83 minute film, great pacing. Some awesome performances and the whole film I was hooked on how the 4 tales intertwine and while I do kind of see how they were, I wanted more of an explanation. I could of quite happily sat through another hour of this movie. I wanted to know why Mr Wilkins was how he was, what is going on with his son, what the hell was his connection to Anna Paquin & co, what is Anna Paquin & co's deal, and what was the relationship between Sam & Rhonda.,
I'm literally gagging for more, but for what I got, it was a great Halloween movie, good boo scares, a lot of tension, great movie. I give it a 8/10.

That's what I've become now? A nameless signature? Anyway, I haven't seen it, but the poster is cool and the trailer and reviews were good so I jumped on the bandwagon. Don't blame me if it sucked, I just am a fanboy! Anyway, I'm glad to see someone didn't like it. I was going to buy it without renting it first and now have changed my mind. BTW, the new Nightmare trailer made my pants tent. ***Edit***** Ok, I just read the review above me and now I'm thinking of just buying it instead. What can I say, I'm an easily swayed fan boy.

I agree with Hogan Trick R Treat was awesome, can't believe it took 2 years to come out. (it deserved better than a DVD release aswell)

I just found out that the city about 20 minutes from where I live is having a Zombie Walk on the afternoon of Halloween. For those of you unfamiliar with a zombie walk:
Yeah, what a great way to start my Halloween!

I just got a call from the local paper (Richmond Register). It's the only paper in town and this is a fair sized town. They want to do a story on benevolent street in a column called "Meet your Neighbor" about local people who do this and that around town. Great publicity considering how many people in this town read that paper. Very cool! I do the interview tomorrow. No clue on when it'll be in the paper. But I'll scan it.

Tried to watch Sorority Row last night, made it about half way through before I got bored and left. That bad, eh? I fell asleep twice watching the original Night of The Living Dead the other night. The second time I woke up and was like, "Ok, this is one of my favorite movies of all time, and I keep falling asleep, time for bed!" I think I might try to watch it again tonight.

I will be buying Trick R Treat for sure next week.
Nightmare On Elm Street 1 and 3 are my favorites.
