I've gotta look for that dvd! Nothing really new here as far as movies. My daughter and I saw a bunch of kids Halloween movies today, but no horror.
I watched An American Werewolf In London tonight (a day late). It is such an amazing movie. It's actually better than I remembered it being.

The Walmart near me has a little section now but nothing too great, mostly stuff I already have or don't want. Not too big on Halloween 4 and 5 but at that price I'll have to keep a look out for that DVD set, Thanks for the heads up.

Picked up Trick 'R Treat last night and WOW. Been a LONG time since I enjoyed a horror movie that much. I absolutely loved it.

What did you guys think of Halloween II? it comes out here this Friday and I'm thinking of going on Saturday or Sunday. Well, Michael Myers is EXTREMELY violent and bloodthirsty. That's about the only positive quality of Halloween II.

I was so wrapped up in my daughter's birthday this weekend, I totally forgot that Trick R Treat came out! Oh well, I'd be a horrible Dad if a horror movie was my top priority. I'm flat broke until Friday, but I'll probably pick it up then.

I feel like I should ask, what is the big "must see" horror/thriller movie in theaters this Halloween season? Or is there even one?

There isn't much.
It WAS The Wolfman until it got pushed back, but this season seems pretty dry, except for maybe Saw 2094: Beating a Dead Horse.
