WRONG TURN 3: LEFT FOR DEAD (Declan O'Brien, 2009) Awful acting, juvenile dialogue, but awesomely hilarious kills (seen above). Yep, this is indeed a direct-to-video horror. 5.0

Picked up Drag me to Hell on blu at FYE. Had a 15 dollar giftcard, a 15% discount, and I got a 5 dollar mail in rebate...All in all will end up paying about 8 dollars for it.
Here's hoping the unrated cut is more uh...Horrifying.

I don't think I'm watching anything tonight, maybe the Garfield Halloween special, but other than that probably nothing. I'm gonna either start watching the Scream franchise tomorrow night, or Halloween.

Wow, I can't believe how dead this thread is! Especially considering we're only 2 weeks from Halloween! Seems like most of the regular posters are MIA.

I'm watching Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness, right now. Never saw it before, but I'm liking what I'm seeing. I'm having 3 movies sent from netflix today : The original StepFather (which was just re-released on DVD) has anyone picked up the DVD? Drag Me To Hell and Them! Gonna try to go to at least 1-2 haunted houses here in the Suburban Chicago area this Weekend. What else are you guys up to? What movies/tv have you been watching? What's good - what's bad? Kick it up a notch in here!

I'm trying to get in Halloween mood, so if anyone could recommend some good horror movies, I'd appreciate it.
I'm not talking about super gory blood fests, but some semi-scary movies with good plots.
I've already got my Classics line up set up.
Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man, House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula, Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.

Just finished "Prince of darkness." Awesome movie. Very under rated John Carpenter flick!

Saw Paranormal Activity.
Not nearly as great as some are making it out to be, I found the ending to be a bit of a predictable let down.

Watching "Alive" right now. For some reason, this movie traumatized me big time when I was a little kid. Awesome movie.

I've never seen Alive. I have, however, seen It's Alive! which is great.

Just saw Paranormal Activity. Real good, but I'd say a bit overhyped. I'll try to do a more detailed review later, along with the other horror movies I watch between now and Halloween (hopefully a lot).

Might be seeing Paranormal Activity later tonight, but I did pick up Drag Me To Hell on Blu, the flick still gives me the creeps.

Man this board is dead! No movies last night, my daughter was having a slumber party.
I'll edit this so I'm actually contributing. TMZ had a story on Matt Lillard and the 4th Scream movie (this post is inspired by Benevolentstreet.com). The camera guy asked him if he had been approached about returning as Stu. Lillard's response was along the lines of, "No, dude, I'm dead!" The camera man responded that it didn't stop Lillard from having a cameo in Scream 2. They showed the clip and Lillard told the guy that he needed to get out more if he knew about that cameo (which, sadly, I knew about also).
So, no news came out of it, but it made me chuckle.
