To me, I have to say Freddie. It opened everybodies eyes about the horrors of AIDS, and I can safely say, that he was a musical genius.

Kurt for me. Nirvana is my favorite Rock/grunge band of all time, and when Kurt SUPPOSEDLY took his life, I was really shocked.

Mercury, his talent is much more missed to me than Cobain. As Mercury said in a great song; Dont Try Suicide. Cobain should've listened to more Queen

Cobain easily. Just look at the entire post grunge scene after 1994. So many derivitive bands: Bush, Silverchair, Nickleback, Puddle of Mudd, Seether, Future leaders of the World, Threee days Grace, etc, ect.

The man in this guys sig. .....What about it? I cant like two genres of music? I think he meant E made a bigger impact than both Kurt and Freddie.

You could tell Mercury was gay, but his death was so big. It made AIDS even more serious. Cobains death just spawned abunch or dumbasses claiming him as a god and fifty different conspiracious in order to take focus away from the fact the prick shot himself.

I still don't see how a man dying is influential? Often funny, but never influential.

People come out of the woodwork saying they're a HUGE fan when a famous person dies. It's like their fanbas triples overnight.

Influential? I guess I'd say Cobain... Though Mercury was much more talented.
