I have recently been getting into Megadeth and I was wondering what album should I get by them.

I really, really suggest getting "Peace Sells, But Who's Buying?" That was my first Megadeth album, and is my favorite to this day. Highest recommendation possible.

I have recently been getting into Megadeth and I was wondering what album should I get by them. I agree with Suckasays...Countdown To Extinction & Youthanasia were great albums to start off. After those, I recommend getting into 2 of their earlier albums, Peace Sells.... & Rust In Piece. Their later stuff isn't anything great but their remake of "A Tout Le Monde" w/ the singer from Lacuna Coil (Kristina Scabbard??) was really well done and better than the original IMO.

Rust In Piece, Peace Sells..., and SFSGSW are the better albums if you like the more thrashy heavier Megadeth. Countdown To Extinction and Youthanasia if you want the more mainstream Megadeth.
Also, The System Has Failed is a pretty good album.

"Rust In Peace" and "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" are the 2 favorite albums of hardcore Megadeth fans. I still love "Countdown to Extinction".

Rust in Peace is the favorite of anyone who likes the thrashier stuff. The riffs are amazing.
Then there's Youthanasia and Countdown to Extinction for the people who just like heavy rock riffs, without being too fast and complicated.
I'm a fan of all things Megadeth, so I'd recommend all the above albums.

Countdown to Extinction is by far my favorite album by them.
But if you're a fan, it's hard to go wrong with almost anything they've done.

I use to own Countdown, it's not a bad record, I'd definitely pick up that one especially if your just getting in to them.
Also Rust in Peace is decent for Megadeth

Mustaine is such a **** intellectually- disabled person.... but I'd get Countdown To Extinction. Their best, in my opinion.

Rust in Peace and Cryptic Writings are my two favorites. The only album I really don't like buy them is Risk.

Rust in Peace and Cryptic Writings are my two favorites. The only album I really don't like buy them is Risk. Risk is TERRIBLE. The only song I mildly enjoy is "Ecstacy" because of the catchy chorus.

I love Megadeth personally, and even forgave them for Risk so much that I enjoy the album. To start, which is how I got started, was with Countdown to Extinction. I LOVE So Far, So Good, So What as well.
