It's not amazing, I've seen practically the same exact solo 30 times in youtube videos. Sure it was cool the first time you watch the Asian dude solo over it, but now it's just stupid. I am still waiting for a video from you of some amazing guitar playing...

Everybody knows Zappa is great. But I am done arguing with you. Your seem like one of those people that just leaves stupid comments like "Vai sucks" on youtube just to piss people off.

I was making a point to the douche on here that said "soloing over canon, how original". It doesn't matter if it is original or not it is none the less amazing. Oh I agree it's not original, but is amazing. Many people have done covers of canon but he takes it to a new level. Also to anyone who doubts him watch some of his other videos of his own songs.

It's such a shame that it took 27 replies for someone to mention Dimebag Darrell. There really isn't anyone TO ME that has ever, can ever, or will ever match his technical prowess and sheer amazing ability on the axe. I will forever miss him too. R.I.P. Dime!

1. Slash 2. Jimi Hendrix 3. Jimmy Page 4. Eric Clapton 5. Tom Morello 6. Kirk Hammet 7. Prince 8. Buckethead 9. James Hetfield 10. Frank Zappa
Slash > Hendrix Flame all you want, that's what I think...and I've studied up enough on both. Oh and Dimebag sucks. HIGHLY overrated.

What part of the " TO ME" boldface print do you people not understand? I simply made MY OPINION known, because that's what was asked. People's OPINIONS. It's my opinion that Dimebag Darrell was, is, and will always be the best ever, and there is NO ONE on this board, or anywhere else, that will EVER change my mind. So you can stop trying to take childish stabs at me in an attempt to make me snap off on you and get my ass in trouble with the admins, because it's not worth it.

Guys, I think many of you are neglecting to read the original topic where Doogle mentions that he would like to know who your favorite guitarists are... Favorite and "best" are two completely different things.

Matt Rach is simply AMAZING. 16 years old, unreal. He also writes his own original music and plays the drums.
That's one of his originals. Check out his youtube page for all his stuff.
Oh and no one has mentioned Lindsey Buckingham. Buckingham sounds like he's playing 2 guitars and a bass at once. I don't think he even owns a pic.

That guy's lucky to be alive. Seriously though, I'm glad he didn't suffer the same fate as Hillel Slovak. Frusciante's the closest thing to Hendrix nowadays. i'm such a Frusciante mark it's untrue

After listening to tons of Maiden for the past few days I gotta give credit to Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, and even Janick Gers. The latest Maiden record, "A Matter of Life and Death", was pretty tasty in terms of guitar playing from those 3.
