I dig a couple Tim Mcgraw tunes, and a lot of female country songs from the 90's are so catchy they stick in my head for days.
One song I can't stand is "Amazed", maybe its because I was woke up by it far too many times thanks to my dad, he knew I hated it so he would play it to get me out of bed.

Garth Brooks - Friends in Low Places How in the name of god could I forget that tune? My favorite memory of that song has to be from 2006. My friends and I were in Cincinnati, OH at Bogart's for a Avenged Sevenfold show, and before Sevenfold hit the stage they played that over the PA system in the club. Have a sold out club of Sevenfold fans all singing a Garth Brooks tune was priceless.

^I agree that Thunder Rolls is a classic. I love tons of country songs from the 90s. But for the most part I listen to new stars like Blake Shelton, Josh Turner, Brad Paisley, and Big and Rich.

I agree Mark, although I dislike most of today's country, Gary Allan sure hits the spot.
I'd also like to throw in The Kentucky Headhunters' "Too Much To Lose"...wait, that was the '90s, right?

The Dance by Garth Brooks
I Still Believe In You/Trying to get Over You by Vince Gill
Little Rock by Collin Raye
Dust on the Bottle -David Lee Murphy
This Kiss by Faith Hill
How Long Gone by Brooks and Dunn

Only way I've ever enjoyed country is when it's covered by Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Growing up where all people really listen to is country, you get a lot a disdain for it. I don't mind country like David Allen Coe, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams(I-III), etc. But when you get the southern voice sound it annoys me. I love alt. country though, like Rocky Votolato, Dustin Kensrue, and Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins.

I'm sorry, anything beyond 70's country music is just down right terrible, unless it's Dwight Yoakam

My dad listens to country, so I hear a few songs here and there. I like how newer Country songs are like Country-Rock, with some wicked guitarists. I don't know the names of any though.
