Ernest Tubb is probably my favorite country singer.
You guys should check out Scott H Biram from Austin Texas, good mix of punk, country, and cb.

I'll admit, I'm a big Ty Herndon fan.
Mark Wills is pretty good as well. He had a nice version of "What hurts the most" about 3 years before Rascal Flatts homo'd it up.
