in A is right. I haven't been hyped this much for a movie, ever. I was sorta indifferent on the whole Joker appearance from the last set of pics, but this one looks insane. The wait is almost unbearable, and im just talking about for the trailer. |

The Joker is definetly looking far sweeter than I could of ever hoped for.
Waiting for this movie will drive me crazy.
But atleast in December we will get the full trailer with I Am Legend.

Comparing Nicholson and Ledger is pointless. They're based in two entirely different continuities...Nolan's Batman is far different from Burton's. Nicholson nailed the part perfectly in the original, because he worked so well with the overall feel of the film. And it looks like Ledger's going to do just fine in Nolan's film.
Seriously, the comparison is akin to comparing Christian Bale's Batman to Adam West's. They're both "Batman" per se, but they're also completely different characters whou would absolutely not fit in each others' respective universes.

Nicholson was fantastic overall for the part that he played, but what irritates me is when people refuse to accept that there can actually be another Joker. It annoys my when people say, "there won't be another Joker like Jack - he IS The Joker."
Jack's Joker was just one portrayal, and it was great for what it was, but since there's so many different "types" of Jokers in the comics, there can be different interpretations of the character on film.
Ledger looks like he's going to be fantastic!
