I just popped this in for the first time since summer, and I dont know why everyone said it sucked. It was pretty good. Sure Heart Shaped Glasses wasnt the best, but alot of other songs really got me into the cd. And please no "Manson Sucks". Thats not what Im asking. For the Manson fan's here, why did no one enjoy this cd? And if you havent heard most of the cd, and dont like manson, dont ing reply.

I'd really like to listen to it, but how do I ask my parents If I can?

I didn't enjoy it because I thought it was too samey, and it sounded as though Manson himself was bored. It just lacked the punch that hs earlier albums had.

I enjoyed it--nowhere near as much as The Golden Age of Grotesque or others earlier than that, but it was still a great album.

I didn't like it, but I never really gave it a fair chance either. Maybe I'll pick up a used copy and give it another go.

I thought it was pretty good. Came across as a very heartfelt release, which was an interesting change.

Well manson made this album during the same time dita von tease left him. So during making it he was depressed, so there wasn't as much energy put in to it. I didn't really like it, as much as i liked the other ones.
On a side note : I'm going to see Manson on the 9th of december.

How can you say this album is to "Samey'? It sounds completely different from most of the stuff he has put out, heck there are even long guitar solo's which you never really hear in Manson songs.
I loved the album though, there were many great songs. I forgot what my favorite song title was called, but it was right after "Heart Shaped Glasses" and had a pretty damn cool drum opening.

Because almost every song sounds the same, it isn't hard to work out.

I always find it irritating when people try to dictate who is and isn't allowed to post in a thread.

I have heard the cd and it wasn't the best stuff that I thought he coudl have put out. Iw as really pissed off at his SPIN magazine interview where he stated that he pretty much has gone thew way of the emo. But that is alright I am sure he knows what he is doing. Can't fault him for much. Though I will say that he should really pick up where he left off on Holywood because it felt like there was more that he wanted to say on that album.
